  • Custom Questions might be better at answering data-parsing kind of questions, rather than data-processing questions. Generally these kind of searches divide the input (in this case the research paper) in manageable chunks and these are semantically matched with user's question and provided to LLMs to provide a response to question. The question you had asked would have a very little semantic similarity with any of the chunks so none of the chunks got passed to LLM to answer the question. Hence the response, "no mentions found."

Like if I trim text to a certain number of words using AI tool, can I directly use the trimmed text as is in my research paper or is it unethical? I feel like I can do it (In’Sha’Allah) by breaking it up into sections however it’s just draining meee and I’m just anxious because that’s the only thing I have left to write.

  • Artificial Intelligence is trending in academic writing field. Will all higher learning institutions embrace AI tools? Is it the way to go for the instructors and students? I believe that with modern technological innovations, AI tools are of much benefit if used within accepted academic writing parameters.   • one of my concerns with AI in academia is that these AI tools often do not disclose who can own the information that you're putting into them... Take CHATGPT which owns the CHATGPT output that is generates?!? Can you do a video on that?
