Palworld just feels like Lego Fortnite, feels really good for a while but people will lose interest overtime in a rapid downfall
The difference is the people behind the game itself. The palworld devs made a statement saying the most heartfelt and positive thing gaming companies don't say nowadays, Pokémon suffers from lots of things, and one of it is communication

Palworld is what Pokemon legends Arceus needed to be . Capturing hisuian mons and building a world with them which would lead to first sinnoh civilisation. But what they give freakin strong style , agile style no one remembers. They showed that even back then they have pokeballs , professirs and all organized . Bro make Pokemon feel like animals roaming in wild doing their specialties like vespiqueen making honey , zangoose and seviper fighting and similar stuff rather than npcs who only attack and get captured . Hope Pokemon Legends Kyurem gets Palworld Mechanics . Only thing that’s keeping pokemon going in the last 5 years is the Anime , VGC , new pokemons and Pokemon Showdown . Games graphics , storyline and characters seem so mediocre ,forgettable and boring in last 2 games . There was a time when Heartbold used to have Cameos of other region gym leaders, the easter eggs , connections to other games and it was so interesting and unforgettable.

I think of palworld the same as shadow of mordor. That game is in my top 5 favorite games of all time. And its not that unique all things considered. Arkam Batman type combat, assassin creed stealth, etc. It doesnt reinvent the wheel. But it does take what others do and just cements it. The only problem i have is some of the designs. Not like Jetdragon or Relaxasaurus. I actually like them a lot more than pokes like latios or Ampharos. But the others are way too on the nose like evee with clothes. Id hope a new update could leviate that but prolly not and i just gotta deal with it. Palworld isnt "creatively bankrupt" all things considered. Yes. Some designs are off but im not people like lockstin where that hangup is gonna influence me too much. It looks fun. And thats really all that matters. It does what it can to the best of its ability. And no matter how you wanna argue it... its art. You want a better game? Support things like lumentale. Put your money where your mouth is. Cause i did.

That's very fair, but then again, there are simaliarites that people can make, which are valid but not justified when you realize that they call it a blatant copy

@@Pokiiii62 yes, my statement is usually only applicable in the early stages, the games that cement themselves and get a solid player base usually end up with hundreds of hours of content, or become PVP focused for basically infinite replayability

palworld is definetely better although i like pokemon a lot more both the games and the anime it has a lot of problems for the anime xy should be ash's final season and he should have won the league (i am extremely biased on that but i am right) and for the games its a lot but i will keep the most essential firstly lack of originality its almost the same every game secondly they just release unfinished games instead of waiting until the game is finished so they can have an anime out as well and the biggest problem you cant play on pc, phone or even ps without emulator

I don't send death threats to anybody, and I don't undermine its success, but I still hate Palworld. Not because I'm a Pokémon fan (even though I am), but because I'm an artist/creative person. Sure, some of the designs are clearly ripped off from Pokémon, which I'm against, but that's not all. I don't know ARK very well, but according to the people who do, Palworld's gameplay is literally just ARK. And the ambience is very Zelda/Genshin. To a degree that is very borderline plagiarism. I also see a lot of Legends Arceus in Palworld. This game has no ideas of its own. It took all of its ideas from other games and put them in the game basically without any changing anything. They're on the thin line between originality and plagiarism because they haven't plagiarized one game but several and smashed them together. And in my eyes, this is an insult to creative people, artists, and literally to art and creation as a whole. This game has no originality, no creativity, no passion. Its creators' only goal is to grab the attention (and money) of the people who like the franchises they copied, and their previous games show that. They're also borderline rip-offs. It got popular despite being made by people who have no care for genuine original game design and just want to copy what works to make money. And in the meantime, actual creative people with great ideas struggle. It's unfair to them that this insult to video game creation is more popular than they will ever be. Sure, Pokémon is far from perfect and needs to improve. But Game Freak designed ALL the creatures themselves, and the writing in Scarlet and Violet is top notch, probably the best it ever was in the entire franchise. Despite their shortcomings, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are original games, with great original ideas. Meanwhile Palworld just takes everything from other people's games. This is why I hate Palworld. Is that not justifiable ?
First off, by no means am I saying your opinion is wrong cause it isn't , I can see where you're coming from. But if you truly think that Pokémon is the only monster hunting game out , you're incredibly wrong. Monster hunter, ark, Digimon, there are so many games out there that have taken "plagiarism" and used it as their own, but somehow palworld gets to take the blow? I'm sorry, but palworld isn't the first game to copy Ark or Pokémon and their are tons of games that have taken things from each of those games and have built a franchise on it. Not to mention they mechanics are completely different from Pokémon, it is very much different from Pokémon and I advise you play the game to see what it has to offer because their are many things that palworld does that Pokémon doesn't. It has lots of pals that resemble certain Pokémon sure, but saying that it's a straight-up copy of something else when there have been tons of games that have started the monster hunting and open world genre is just not true
@@Pokiiii62 Monster Hunter Stories and Digimon had their own artstyle. The creatures in that game aren't in the Pokémon artstyle like the Pals are. Digimon has its own mechanics with the way Digivolution and the lifespan of the Digimon work. For Monster Hunter Stories, it's clearly more a Monster Hunter creature raising game than a Pokémon-like. Palworld on the other hand, what did they do differently ? They slapped guns on creatures that have the exact same artstyle as the Pokémon.
I will only say i dont think money is the only thing they care about. Cause theres plenty of original monsters, the animations are great and the loop of gameplay is addicting. That has to count for SOMETHING. Cause if it was just for money this stuff would be even more trash for stuff like microtransaction garbage. Its fine to wish more for their creative side. But to say its "all about the money" just sounds more like being butthurt than anything else. Judge the mons. Judge the gameplay. Go ahead. But if money was the only thing... it wouldnt have done well at all.
@@SoftwareNeos Well it's definitly partially for money, and definitly not out of passion for video game design at all. If they made it out of passion and care and will to make something unique and great, the art style of the Pals wouldn't be literally just Pokémon, ALL the designs would be original, the music and ambience would also be more unique. Basically they wouldn't steal their ideas from other games and come up with almost nothing themselves if they cared about video game creation.

Every company is in it for money. Nintendo will do anything for money, so much so they were making sure major retailers like Toys R Us would never even carry say Tengen (video game publisher and developer created by Atari) products back in the day. Nintendo monopolised gaming post the video game crash of 1983 by doing scummy business practices.

@@Pokiiii62 Uh well Game Freak does come up with design elements for Pokémon themselves, they don't steal them from other franchises like Palworld does. So, to me, Pokémon is superior from the start even despite the many things it does wrong.

@@dragonballfanscantread2383 Uuh no. Because Pokémon has a different artstyle and gameplay mechanics than Shin Megami Tensei and Dragon Quest. The Pals are literally in the exact same artstyle as the Pokémon, and the only reason the gameplay is different than Pokémon is because they ripped it off of other games like ARK.
@@Oceane1803 The original Megami Tensei game was released in 1987 exclusively in Japan. It was an NES RPG based on a book called Digital Devil Story. You're able to talk to the enemies and convince you to give them items, money (Macca), or to join you. In addition, you can fuse your monsters to make more powerful ones that inherit moves and abilities. Flash forward to 1996, when Pokémon Red and Green released in Japan. Turn-based JRPGs revolving around collecting monsters that battle for you where you're able to get tougher ones by evolving then, in turn sacrificing the weaker one. Does this sound familiar?
