  • Hi Becky, If you want to enjoy your tulips for a longer time without them growing in length, take a clean needle and poke a hole in the stem, just under the head of the flower. It stops the growth, and you can enjoy your tulips for a longer time. Cut the bottom part of the stem, so there is a fresh cut so the flower can absorb the water and nutrients if you have those. Don't put them in direct sunlight, and give them after a few days fresh water. You can have those tulips standing for up to 2 weeks. Enjoy! 🌷 Saying "hi" from the Netherlands! 🤗 🇳🇱

Chives. Brussel Sprouts. Mixed Onion sets and another onion family that eacapes my mind (not scallions or leeks). I am SO happy! Today i bought a minature multi headed Sunflower, but gave it to my brother! He only has a mini flowerbed at his apartment. Since its blooming already, it will give him a bit of Joy! • Aloe drinks are a big thing for my boyfriend (he is Mexican) and I love them too on occasion. He does like getting that jug at TJs and mixing it into his drinks. I think you can drink it plain, but it is really good if you mix it into lemonade or juices. Also, tamales are so fun to make! Do not be intimidated, look at recipes and figure out what works best for you! Homemade are always so much better than the store bought varieties.

  • Yes I have tried aloe juice, personally I think it’s an acquired taste. I think it’s more bearable mixed with another juice. I’ve mixed it with apple, pomegranate and raspberry juices. I did the pomegranate and aloe juice myself. Also have tried pha before, which I absolutely adore! Now I’m in the mood for some!

  • Careful with Oxyclean! If you don’t know if your family is allergic, my husband swelled up in the face and neck areas! I had used it for the first time and he swelled up immediately after putting a shirt on. Needless to say, a not so quick 2 hospital ER visits and we figured it out! He was never allergic to anything!

  • Straight peroxide works as a stain remover. I had no idea but my sister shared that with me. Used some on a stain that a name brand stain remover didn't work on. So I gave the peroxide a try on that stain that had been washed & put through the dryer. And yay! The peroxide got the stain out. I was so happy.
