For those attempting this, I've been informed by Delkevic you need to let the sealant dry for 24 hours before installation, and you don't put it on the copper gaskets.

Are you saying copper ring is not needed for delkevic exhaust? I added copper ring last week!

Hi, I have a 2023 model in the UK. Didn’t want that arrow pipe on my bike. I think it takes away from the look. This Delkevic pipe looks fantastic. Thank you for sharing. Definitely peaked my curiosity! Safe riding but have fun!

I have a two brothers, this sounds good but two brothers is more deep, it sounds different in person of course than these vids.

Great video. I bought a 2021 vulcan s a few months ago with a DL 400mm delkevic on it. Found it just a fraction too loud (for me) so replaced the baffle with a solid one, which takes the edge off and sounds a tad throatier. Switch to the stock exhaust every now and then, but keep returning to the delkevic as it makes the cruising ride experience more fulfilling. Looking forward to a tune with the pipes on just to see if it makes a difference to fuel consumption. Also looking forward to de restricting it at the end of the year when on full licence as everything I've seen online seems to indicate this bike is more powerful and even smoother when not restricted. Thanks again for an entertaining and informative video.

Yer id be keen to see if a tune after the exhaust makes much difference. The aftermarket exhaust definitely helps with being heard in traffic!! Just check, but when de-restricting the bike it may have to be re-registered as non lams?

I’ve done a video comparison with and without the baffle, it sounds much ‘meatier’ without the baffle..!
Hey, do it! You will love it!! I’m not sure about the legalities but realistically if you keep your old exhaust, if you get told it’s not legal/ too loud you can always change it back.

Yep they sound sick! Man the stock exhaust sounds like a barina :) I just picked up a 2016 cafe and am looking at a Delkevic - was undecided between the bullnose or slash cut - I assume this is the 410? Did you order it direct from the website, or thru someone local? Bike is lookin great mate - cheers for putting this up. Will save me a bit of time in the coming weeks :) Another question - have you looked into leather bags for your setup? Best option seems to be the Finn Moto stuff - I'm still looking for options here :)

I bought this direct from Delkevic through eBay, got it within the week. Haven’t looked into bags yet, kinda like the look as is. Main things next are mirrors and levers. Then, I think I might be done… The KZhead videos don’t really do the sound justice, it really makes a difference!!!!

Hey, good old Gnangara! $889.95 + $35 shipping. I bought it from Delkevic aus but through their eBay store, it worked out quicker I think..

I left them out, the bike only had 2000kms on it and was only a couple of months old so I just reused the original ones.

Yer still in there, wouldn’t take much to pop them out. Small flat blade screw driver.

Yer I did, it had a bit of a bend in it? Not sure what that’s for… had a bit of a google and couldn’t see it anywhere noticeable… I just left it off as it all went together nicely.

Orange stuff was a sealant and I don’t replace the rings as the bike only had 2000kms on it.

I don’t have any first hand experience with lowing the volume, though I believe you can pack the silencer with exhaust packing and it does help…

Yes I have, I’m thinking of putting the plug back in tough… I didn’t notice much power gain but have noticed fuel economy worsened.

I haven’t had it tuned, probably should.. but I haven’t noticed any issues just yet but would help with a few things getting a tune I’d say, I.e. fuel consumption and ride smoothness.

Drop the heavy metal head hanging noise! What you'd call "background music", it's just noise pollution as far as anyone is concerned!

Gotta let you know that the "noise" pollution you had for background "music", made it impossible for me to watch your video unmuted. I cant recommend that exhaust pipe in any way with a clean/clear conscience.😱😵

Great video. I bought a 2021 vulcan s a few months ago with a DL 400mm delkevic on it.
