always amazes me how consistent the roots are
once you have a decent sized puddle moving it's fairly forgiving
This is art
The inside of your carbon roots are so good. I've been welding schedule 10 316 stainless lately so it's been a while since I've done one roots. I want to try it again when I watch your videos.
Thanks again!

Pozdrav i sve najbolje
Sto juznije i sto konzervativnije! 😉
Fantastic videos and great work!
great vid always quality welds!
When you say 100% Xray does that mean it must pass the highest grade or that they Xray the whole and all the welds you did?
In this case 100% X-ray both joints I did!
Can you do a video showing the fill and cap as well?
Good work
Thanks
How did you get into this type of work?
Where in Canada are you working? I recognize your coveralls
Hi X3M is it essential to pre-heat for tacks? thanks
If procedure calls for preheat than yes, you should!

Hey man i have a serious question. I am a young welder but i am already experiencing some pain in my wrists from wiggling and walking the cup. How do you prevent these injuries? I hope you can give me some advice so i can keep doing what i like
Ur holding the Tig rig to tight loosen up ur hand that you hold the Tig torch in. Old head once told me he should be able to come up behind me while I'm welding and snatch the Tig torch outta my hand with no problem
@real_stickyy2062
Don't squeeze the torch too tight, especially when walking the cup, if you're a beginner it's normal
Do it freehand.
be a man
Yo, X3M, whats the average $/h in your experience for welders with few years of experience with welding pipe?
It all depends on your welding tickets, and if you are working on union or nonunion projects…. average here in Alberta is $40/hr - $52/hr CAD
Hello
what size cup are you running?
Guessing a 7
Guys I got a question, 7016 rod root pass uses dcep or dcen ?
7018? Reverse polarity DCEN
