He was longer with his irons than even the pros now, but he didn’t need to be. And at this point in his career, he played a still very spinny golf ball, not very forgiving. This was the greatest 20 month ride in Golf History. Tiger actually won 5 out of 6 majors from the ‘99 PGA to the 2001 Masters… Absolute GOAT stretch. 17 Tour wins in 20 months.

Crazy to think that, at this time, Tiger, Ernie and Vijay had won majors, with Duval joining them later this year (2001 Open) plus Toms (2001 PGA) and Furyk (2003 U.S. Open). I'm seeing names on the Leaderboard I haven't seen for years, which brings me back to 2021 and the many Majors Tiger has Won since! I get so caught-up in watching this video, like the other "Tigers Greatest Moments" video's I have in my Video Library I forget that 20 year's has passed since this Event/Video. I just hope that Tiger can recover enough to be able to play and play well. I'm not a celebrity news watcher so I don't know of how is recovery from his recent car accident is going or any statements he has made concerning his recovery and thoughts about if he will play more Tournaments. My hope is to see him play again which I guess is a bit selfish considering how many special moments he has given us all throughout his career, but I also wish him a Full Recovery, even if that includes him retiring from the game he loves so much, if that's what it takes for him to remain healthy. If it does mean retirement for him, we still have a Treasure Trove of video's online we can enjoy and re-live those Many Special Moments Tiger has given us. Thanks Tiger and Goodluck in whatever you choose to do after retirement.
