And the President is the a) leader of the party, b) sets policy goals (with VP input no doubt), c) is the commander in chief, etc. At best, the VP is more of a figure head/advisor (maybe with the exception of Dick Cheny)...not sure how you could ever think they "experience more powrr" than POTUS.

Agreed, Trump is on the level Bush Jr. was. Never really felt like he prepares before a speech, sometimes they come out great, other times you can tell it's off the cuff. Pence seems like low energy, calm/collected version of Trump. He didn't yell, he laid out his arguments pretty well, and corrected his opponent in a constructive way (most of the time). Other times he knew when to play hard ball.

People are entitled to a full answer from both parties, the time is just too short, it's an offence to the public.
