I worked for the railway on the track crews. Used to be gone for 8 days, home for 6 with about 7 hours of driving in between. Every time I had to leave my girlfriend behind and head back to work, I used to play this song as I was driving out. Brought tears to my eye every time. So yeah. You aren't alone

@@michaelj.beglinjr.2804 Jesse ends starting a new life in Alaska. It was cool but I was disappointed - the movie just felt like an extra three episodes of content, which is how long it was but yknow there are hundreds of episodes of TV shows and movies are far rarer, so that was a bit of a shame.

The first time I heard this I was 9 years old. My dad said it was my mom and his song because the song literally explained their love. My mom was a young waitress, and my dad was a truck driver. They fell in love right after school and got married. Mom got pregnant, and dad had to go drive. I'm 14 now and my dad is dead, a collision with a tractor trailer, and my mom was torn to pieces. The lyrics in this song are so similar to my parents love it's scary sometimes. Everlast is amazing.

It was a coincidence that he was killed in a tractor trailer accident. He told me when I was younger that this was his and my mother's song because it perfectly described their love. Then he died.

This is such a dumb comment that I see almost everywhere. What's next? "Damn this video is so real, they're wearing shoes. @@edstevens6839 You still correspond with 95% of the prisoners you transported, as an extradition agent? I find that extremely hard to believe, considering you were extraditing these prisoners out of the country. Plus, if you've worked at that job long enough, I'm sure you've transported thousands of prisoners, if not more depending on the size/capacity of your transport vehicle. I'm not calling you a liar, but I do think you're exaggerating a bit. That's a lot of correspondence for one person, perhaps too much for one person to handle.

This song breaks my heart in a way I hope most people can't understand. Otr trucker or just a man doing his best for the woman he loves. You can do everything right and still lose ur soul simply because of ur non-stop desire to give her the world. LOVE is not a choice but be careful who u choose to give ur heart and soul to. Walking away from the person you love is on of the hardest things in this world. But not as hard as learning that ur partner isn't really the soulmate you thought and have to watch them walk away instead of the other way around. They say It's better to have loved and lost them to never have loved at all... bullshit... try it for yourself and then talk to me

One of the most underrated performers
***** Seriously, where is your compassion? Wake the fuck up dude.
***** Sociopath, that's you.
I'm sorry about your dad. It's amazing how love work's, I'm sure your mom loved him very much. If you don't mind me asking, what year did he die? I'm 14 also and my mom left my family and I; due to drugs and alcohol when I was 12. I know how it feels to lose a parent too, your not alone. Stay positive and have hope, that's what's been keeping my head up.

This is such a dumb comment that I see almost everywhere. What's next? "Damn this video is so real, they're wearing shoes. Smh" This is from 2003, there were plenty of videos focusing on women, flashy cars, jewelry and guns. Just like there were videos with more substance, with real actors or just silly fun videos. And it was like that in the 90's too, and even the 80's.

@Elise B Preach it Jimmy Hoffa
@@edstevens6839 You still correspond with 95% of the prisoners you transported, as an extradition agent? I find that extremely hard to believe, considering you were extraditing these prisoners out of the country. Plus, if you've worked at that job long enough, I'm sure you've transported thousands of prisoners, if not more depending on the size/capacity of your transport vehicle. I'm not calling you a liar, but I do think you're exaggerating a bit. That's a lot of correspondence for one person, perhaps too much for one person to handle.
