Sonny started the race focused and fast, quickly becoming one of the leaders. He was very close to beating Michael Walkner until the very end. Unfortunately, there was a mistake with how his bike was set up, which made him lose a lot of energy. Despite this, he still managed to finish the race in 2nd place on Saturday.
