71 year old BTS Army here. Jungkook or JK for short is the main vocalist for the Global phenomenon BTS. This was his first Official solo release leading up to his all English American Pop album titled "Golden". After all of the seven BTS members completed their solo projects, they enlisted in 18-24 months of mandatory military service in South Korea. They will reunite as BTS with a massive world tour in 2025. BTS debuted in 2013 when JK was only 15. None of JK's official solo releases are Kpop (Korean Pop). They are all American productions and should not be considered Kpop for that reason. Even his dancers are famous American dancer/choreographers. This song was written and produced by Grammy Award winning Producer of the Year Andrew Watt and a team of notable American/Canadian songwriters Cirkut, Jon Bellion and Ali Tamposi. It was produced by the Canadian producer/songwriter known as Cirkut. It was recorded at Watt's L.A. Studio and the video was filmed at Universal Studios in Hollywood CA. Andrew Watt has produced albums for Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Post Malone, the Rolling Stones new album and other notables. The Canadian producer Cirkut also has impressive credits such as producing for "The Weeknd" and others. Watt and Cirkut plus others from their team of songwriters were also involved with his third official solo release "Standing Next to You" and also his album "Golden". Usher featured the remix of that song on his new album released in February. "Seven" broke streaming records right out of the gate and was the fastest song in Spotify history to achieve 100 million streams. It is now over 1.3 billion streams. He also released an "explicit" version of "Seven" Feat Latto, 👀. It was followed by another hit "3D" Feat. Jack Harlow. His album "Golden" that includes songwriters Ed Sheeran and Shawn Mendes has surpassed 4 billion streams. Jung kook once stated he wanted to be a giant pop star and his dream has come true. I recommend his TSX performance where he performs 5 tracks from his album. He is only the second artist in history after Post Malone to be invited to perform on that stage in Times Square in NYC. For the video. I think the he wasn't actually there, but she can't stop thinking about him and is conflicted hence all of the bad weather and disasters. She finally makes here mind up to finally forget him and kill her thoughts (accidents and funeral) but she just can't and the thoughts of him pop right back (out of the coffin). You can see her starting to give in with a little smile (when on the building) and at the end, she relents. Jungkook is part of the Korean group BTS. A quick Google search will tell you all the members. They are all amazing with solo works that express their individual styles and when they come together, it's magic. 💜
