  • I have literely watched dozens of DIY Bluetooth Speaker videos on KZhead so far but this one was by far the best I have watched in a long time. Everything was done the way it should be in terms of box being sturdy and beautiful at the same time. Electronic part was done precisely the way it is supposed to be with pre amp, amp, crossover and Bluetooth installed correctly. The only thing that can be improved is better locking on/off switch and a cooling system. Overall the end product came out amazing. Only if it had one the big corporation as Poineer, Kicker, JBL or even Bose logo on it no one would have believed it was home made. Extremely well done. Keep up the good work. Liked and Subscribed.

  • The video production and lighting is absolutely outstanding. The staging of each sequence had to be pretty elaborate and well thought out in order to make sense to the viewer. From a pure geek perspective, this is like a gizmo buffet where you can pick up very good techniques in your own endeavors. While the speaker itself is very cool, I was far more impressed with the presentation.

  • As usual your attention to detail is admirable. One thing that I would point out regarding the x-over coils and the woofer magnets. Since there is room, I would recommend that the coils not be laid out so close in the manner that you have shown. One should be at a right angle to the other, not laid down flat when they are that close to each other; one flat and the other upright on it's side is preferable unless they are spaced 3" minimum and 5" apart preferably/optimally. Space being a premium, mounting them at a right angle keeps them from interacting with each other and throwing off the x-over points as the arrangement shown will definitely do. That said, it would also be beneficial to purchase a shielded version of this driver too (you can also purchase high carbon steal shielding cups and shield them yourself). Placing the very substantial magnets (relatively speaking) of the woofer drivers so close to the x-over is bound to further change the properties of the coils in the crossovers in addition to the placement issue already noted. I've been doing this for about 40 years and must say, nice to see that the attention to detail and enthusiasm you exhibit still exist in this world of instant gratification, well done!

  • That's awesome, the only thing I would of done differently is to tongue and groove the bottom and top pieces instead of simply gluing them together; it would ensure a better hold and make it less likely to come apart if it was ever dropped or had a sudden impact.
