I have spotted two leopards in a single safari in Pench.And l was lucky enough to spot tigers multiple times in Pench.Although spotting it in Chorbhauli is difficult but as you did you are the luckiest person and that too with its fresh kill ❤

Being a forest official we have also encountered the same incident in Kanha NP during our tour back in 2019…it was as thrilling as scary while it runs towards your gypsy for haunting….

I went to pench in December 2022 and we saw a male tiger, after my visit some tourist had similar experiences like you where they were followed and almost attacked by tigers in Pench and other national parks /wildlife sanctuary near Nagpur. The most important question is why can't we have fully covered jeeps/car etc so atleast we can prevent everyone including wildlife from any possible mishap...?
