Doug Jenkins had a chance to ride Cedar Point's newest Coaster, the GateKeeper during the media day preview. He mostly shouted at the camera things you can't hear, but rest assured everything was FCC compliant.
Why am I recommended this 11 years later

It is I took a trip in 9th grade science to cedar point the year it opened and rode it 3 times in a row taking a family trip on the 10th of May this year it's gonna be the first thing I ride love this ride
It's a B&M, and notoriously smooth, and about the most comfortable seat restraints I have seen on a roller coaster, but it is not X2 or Eejanaika.

Yep. And what the one holding on doesn't realize is you get less of that stomach drop feeling when you don't hold on and don't fight it. When you grab onto the handlebars or whatever you tense up which makes it worse.
This ride looks like so much fun!!
I rode this once and I sat in the very last row the whole ride felt like free falling to me which I hate but overall it was super fun and a very smooth ride! The restraints make you feel very safe 😆
Unfortunately I didn't really get the feeling of movement from the steady cam angle

It is not as good as everyone says it is,a good ride at cedar point is the maverick is my favorite ride
