Just finished watching the whole series. The story is told so beautifully and the actors are outstanding in portraying each character they play. Through the scenery and music it takes you on a very emotional journey of a past that should never be forgotten.

This series was masterfully produced. Some moments in this show were very powerful and I absolutely would recommend it to anyone.
.Jonas nay was brilliant as the Auschwitz guard Stefan Baretzi. AMAZING.
As a Melbournian, Ím so happy Lali and Gita made this place their home. Read the book in high school for English lit, and it was like reliving the emotions all over again. Assessing thr book for 6 weeks, we knew the ins and outs. Fantastic series 🤍 the actors did his story justice💗
Just finished it. Couldnt stop cryimg at the end. What a show. 10/10
I think everyone did a great job. This series was gut wrenching, but left this slither of hope. I still can't wrap my head around how humans could do this to other humans
Just binged watch... beautifully told. A must watch. In my junior year of high school, we had a survivor of Auschwitz came and spoke to my history class. Thank you Mrs Wallace
It's an amazingly brilliant, original and engrossing series - I binge watched it yesterday and the time flew by.
Absolutely exquisite! Best thing I’ve watched this year. That feels very wrong to say but please watch this. All the actors were insanely good x
It’s an amazing movie done with so much respect and love. Bravo to the whole cast and everyone involved with the making of this movie. Thank you to Lali for sharing your story❤
It's a series but yeah it is amazing
I have read this amazing story and look forward to watching the series. Lest we forget!!
I feel as though this will be kept in my heart forever. I don't think I'll ever forget this movie... I try to envision being in their shoes but there's no way we can even fathom it. It has affected me for a few days. Moments of sadness. But know I am grateful for my life
I loved the book and the series did it justice.
such a beautifully crafted retelling of memories from Lali by Heather Morris then to tv series which bring awareness and understanding of history past humanity - so needed now Thank u for the series as each esp was so touching and so much hard efforts Let us NOT forget Let us not be Complacent
Great job to everyone involved in telling this story❤
Just finished this complete series. Bravo to the actors for outstanding portrayal. I too was taken on a very emotional journey . The History of how millions of lives lost in this war has left its mark and should never be forgotten.

Finished the book 2 days before the series came out and I just finished the series sooo good 👍🏻 ❤
Wow !! Heather you are brilliant
All them brilliant so sad movie very well done.
@gillowens24 but I have to wait until 7 of june to watch
I haven't watched this series yet, but I recognized the actress who plays Gita since she was previously in the film Warsaw 44.
I have a question. The woman who gave birth in the camp, how did she get out with the child? Does anyone know? I absolutely LOVED this mini series. I cried the entire time. Beautifully done!
The acting was so good, the nazi guard was creepy as hell but sort of felt sorry for him. I suppose everything in life is shades of grey, even in extreme situations
I cant watch this, its just too heart wrenching 😢.
I did not know the actress playing Gita was Jewish.
It was tattooed in my mind
Do some historical research and get cultured about Auschwitz. Never let the British and Americans cover history. Lali’s first meeting when he tattoos a number on her arm, Witek-Malicka says that could not have happened in real life because men tattooed male inmates and women tattooed female inmates.
Finished watching this on Sunday. It absolutely broke me, I would go as far as to say traumatised me!
No business like Shoah business they say & hundreds of films & tv movies later, with no such attention paid to the many other horrendous episodes in human history, one has to agree. It is a crass undertaking in any case, casting attractive model like actors, perfectly healthy looking, when we know the prisoners in these places of misery & death were starved, worked to death & where disease, malnutrition & despondancy was the order of the day. To write a love story for God's sake set in this foul place, as if any of the people there were concerned with relationships. Hollywood garbage, like more or less every depiction of war, hopelessly unrealistic & offensive to the memory of those who suffered so terribly.
Could you not press the off switch? They are casting a remake of the Mummy. Its called the Dummy. Hurry
