At this age it’s more important for the child to get that validation rather than them being focused on giving it to the parent. It’s a psychological thing, and for a parent to keep asking their child if they are beautiful etc is not good for the child because the child’s inner self and self-esteem is in its formative stage here. Many parents prompt their children to give them compliments, and eventually the child will do it on their own accord (like we see here) because they pick up that it’s something the parent will validate them for if they do. Her grasp and focus at this young age should not be about physical appearance, but hey it is what it is when a family believes in physical appearance more than much needed therapy. It’s the spcial heritage unless someone breaks the cycle and tries something new.

Since we see no evidence of Kylie asking her child for compliments in this video I’m not sure it’s fair to make the assumption that she’s conditioning her child to compliment her.

INGREDIENTS+REVIEW Mix 1 1/2 cups of butter Mix 1 1/2 cups of sugar Mix 4 eggs Mix 2 teaspoons vanilla extract Mix 3 cups all purpose flower 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt 1 1/4 cups milk Gel food coloring: green, lemon yellow Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes Edit: I tried this recipe and it’s pretty good. I mean it’s your standard vanilla cupcake recipe but the decorations really added to it. She’s not a professional baker so I wasn’t expecting much but it’s not bad. I paired it with a buttercream recipe by ‘recipes by Carina’ and it tasted great.

Agreed!! Did you see the video where she is left alone with candy in front of her but she is told she can’t have any- she needs to wait for mommy to get back. You can tell how bad she wants it, even jumps to the bowl thinks about eating some and looks around but sits back down. THEN STARTS SINGING “patience, patience, patience” 💕😭 so freaking cute!!!!!
