Male Lion with little cubs, Mara North, Kenya

During our stay at Elephant Pepper camp in the Mara North Conservancy, our guide Salaash Ole Morompi located this wonderful morning family scene. Mara North is a location we seem to often find cubs. We do not always see male lions so patient with the cubs though so this was special.

    • @@sarahtovar9924 he is older than 6 years old, you can see it on his mane. If he was 4 years old as you think, he would bearly have one. The older the lion is, the more mane he has ;)

  • Actually - one of the "sister" lionesses is to the right of the male lion - just is hard to see as she is sleeping. Think there are 2 lionesses each with some cubs.
