  • The day the coach understands that Yui is way better than most of the players in offense and stop using her so far from the box they will win these close matches.

    • You're totally right - Hasegawa has the potential to shine in more advanced positions where she can use her technical ability and vision to make a real difference. We really appreciate your perspective on Manchester City's strategy. Thank you for sharing your thoughts!

    • You welcome, I used to think that I'm bias because I like how she plays, but I have watched some matches with friends and show some of her videos to my team and most said the same, especially after seen her pass and score when she is closer to the box, guess her problem is that she is to good bringing the ball out from behind, personally I think I would be better to have another defensive mid or any defender just pass her the ball up front, but her coach must know something i don't. @@Womenssoccerhub

Your analysis regarding Hasegawa's ability to control play from a deep position and contribute significantly in the attacking third is accurate. We like the idea of having a dedicated defensive midfielder facilitating her forward movements. Who knows, we might see some tactical shifts in the future that align with your thoughts!
