kinda doubt it this time but i wonder if it's in the version in japan?
Well, it was only in the japanese version in the original, so it was always censored anyway...
It's a really small change but I love how the overworld hammer swinging was changed to be like it was in CS and OK. Just has way more of an impact feel to the swing instead of the sudden "WOMP" that was in the original. Plus you can swing in all directions now, weird that you couldn't before.
I love how it has multiple directions to swing like in CS and OK as well, unless that’s what you were referring to lol
@@gltchyyboy7787 No, I wasn't. I was referring to just the feel of the swing. The impact of it hitting the ground and other objects. Could you only swing it in two directions in the original? I don't remember.

Agreed. I love that it retains the original's "spacey" feel while giving a new elegant feel to convey its past significance.

For real. One thing that TOK really got right was its music, and it's nice to see that element translated into TTYD
@@MB-bl4nlfun fact, the main music director for original TTYD came back for origami king as the same position. Also likely working on this remake as well.
The lightning in this remake looks incredible, the door looks so foreboding in this version

The Rogueport theme sounds like a got dang smash bros remix
What I like about the remake is the reflections on the ground y'know what that reminds me of? Tables! That really fits with the paper aesthetic! It could also be the ground, like don't you usually play on the ground? Can't wait to watch a longplay of it as I don't have a Nintendo Switch. ❤
And I mean the literal ground that is not the paper ground.

I noticed the blaring trumpets from the new Rogueport theme in other gameplay videos is missing. So maybe they WILL add more instruments to the theme as you progress through the game?

I dont really mind the fps change, but as someone who has played the Original religiously, I think it's gonna take some time to get used to it
i agree honestly, im gonna miss the 60 fps, but the remixed soundtrack and beautiful new graphics all in 1080p will make everything worth it imo

One gripe i have is that it seems way slower then the original game (load times/menu selection) other than that looks amazing tho
The transitions aren't slow. They are just as quick as the originals, even with the added stuff.
Those look the same..? If anything, I’d say the game is overall FASTER than the original because they made switching partners way easier, as you no longer have to enter the menu to do so. Not to mention them changing the fast travel system..

I see the running theme is to call every remake song bad even when it isn't. It wasn't "butchered" in the slightest, it was greatly improved.

Its not bad but its very busy, theres like a second melody in it (the violin) that is a little too loud
