Troi! Can you help me? The EA "helpers" and I use that term loosely are so hit or miss. Last time they lliterally had me in tears and I am a grown woman. They were so nasty and even harassed me in an email afterwords...but EA allows this. Anyway, since this newest pack , Tartosa will not load. All the other ones will but this one. What can I do? When i click on it the whole screen just turns white exceot for the little family in the bottom left that i am trying to play.
I fixed My Wedding Stories by playing Sims 3 Generations and I'm having the best time in almost a decade lmao

@@BremiiXO I swear the older games work better because they didn't have "multi tasking". They only have one task to think about at a time, so they freaking do it lmao They don't stand around and talk or wander off to whatever else it was they wanted to do, they just sit and they do the thing. They even had to nerf conversations while eating in Sims 4 just to get them to sit down and eat their meal in a decent time lol

Dang shame that EA absolutely takes mods for granted and know they will fix the game. I'm still not going to buy this until EA fixes their stuff. If EA were smart, they'd hire these modders and pay them for literally carrying this game. Thanks for the Vid!

I played weddings for the first time today and my sims didn’t do anything. They all stood still refusing to interact with anything😭😭 I had to cancel it and when they got home the husband-to-be died smh 💔💔

I really want more pple to not buy the pack and make EA accountable for selling a broken pack. We download the mods and EA continues to sell us broken packs and make profit off the unpaid labor of modders 🙄 This is no shade at modders. I greatly appreciate them especially cc creators making content for underrepresented communities.
I wanted to buy the pack for the world alone, but I am choosing not to support EA by doing so. I agree that people need to take a stand against this pack. EA literally made weddings worse and I never thought that would be possible.
Greetings and thanks for the share.... 95% of my game is African. I have several African styled clothing etc. so that my gameplay is familiar. (i.e., in Sulani, my royal family is the African Royal Family of Sulani.) Yes, I am playing with my African Life and loving it!!! We Africans are almost virtually ignored by EA and Maxis. Make way for modders. The modders are doing that thang!!!
we need a world inspired by somewhere in africa or india. i feel like EA gives us a TON of american themed worlds but its time for a change.
Carl's mod makes it a lot easier! You can also use LittleMsSam's Lot Traits mod. Chose formal wear on the lot traits for the wedding venue and they all change into formal wear when they arrive :) But seriously, I really hope the sims team will fix this pack soon so everyone can use it even if they can't or won't use mods

Please forgive. Meant to mention that I personally believe that EA made a mistake by not paying Caradriel for her Wedding mod and including it within the game. Instead, they tried to appropriate what she had done. All they had to do was pay her for it and the wedding pack would be Awesome. ("Penny wise, Pound foolish.") Just sayin'.
It would've been smart but I feel like that would've been a shit show if they had. Cause it's like if they made a pack out of a mod that's free what exactly are we paying for that we can't already get in a free download????? That would've pissed me off charging $20 for gameplay and items I could get for less paying for a creator's patreon. Idk if that would've gone over as well as the simmer builds and adding creator cc to the game those things are free for the most part but a game pack unless the creator was also getting payed for their work and proper credit I feel like it'd be a hard sell. And honestly why can't EA just do better without relying on the community? They can literally afford to it's their job.
I feel like they already did this with the Blooming Rooms pack. A content creator took down their free plant pack and ea bought many of the meshes they created.

Weddings didn’t work half the time in my game before the pack. At least they’re ending up married at the end with the new pack. I’ve installed Carl’s mod, I need to look into some other ones.

i appreciate someone making a mod for this pack, but you shouldn't need a mod just to try and play the pack. and you shouldn't have to use cheats. its a huge disappointment and i am very upset. i was so excited for this pack and wanted it to help me start playing the sims again...but no...still not good. so sad.

Honestly I'm just gonna use Sims 4 Updater for this pack cause I'm 100% disappointed and I don't want to support EA. Why are the weddings made harder than they were?? Why isn't there any African themed wedding?? As an African (Nigerian) that plays this game I'm pretty offended cause I was so happy to buy this pack cause I wanted an African wedding for my black Sims. It sucks that EA literally overlooks Africa, no African themed world's or outfits. It almost seems like EA and Maxis takes EVERYTHING for granted

Hi Troi love your videos! Im so sad tho because I can't even plan a wedding. Every time I go to the phone or even ask the sims spouse to plan the wedding the plan the wedding screen pops up a blank screen with no words. I don't know what to do but I hope they can update the pack one more time.🤞🏾

Question if I get the wedding story pack do I also have to download the wedding fix story mod for it to work in my game.
I was excited for this pack at first because I am playing a legacy, but after hearing about how flawed it is..., I'm steering clear. I rely almost entirely on the mod community at this point, because EA can't release anything without breaking the game even more. If Cardiel's Wedding Mod is stable to play after the updates, then I will be putting that one back in my game.
