  • BBC Earth are you trying to give me a heart attack? Drowning (nearly) baby elephants? Here I thought I'd watch a nice, sweet, relaxing video.

    • Lmao! Extinct. They are literally one of the few species removed from the extinction list.

      @yunisblu3412@yunisblu341211 күн бұрын
    • They would have already gone extinct if it wasn't for our intervention.

      @nickrael5693@nickrael569311 күн бұрын
    • Without our intervention (mainly supplying the bamboo they need) and help with breeding, they aren't at risk of going extinct. But man, their lifestyle doesn't make sense. A carnivore that chose to only eat plants that offer little nutrition. It's worse than a Koala. Koalas at least evolved to have smaller brains that take less energy to nourish, but not Pandas. They're enormous and barely get by as it is. But despite my bias, they are important no less, and deserve to be in better conditions than a metal cage.

  • I think Panda should be put in better environment for this purpose. Cold room looking like a prison cell is it really a best place to accept your baby? Why not somewhere outside in nice sunny day on gras with some bamboo?

  • The elephant mother 😢. Those camera people & the crew can’t not interfere? When the situation becomes so dire like that? They just film It & let the calf die while they have water, milk & foods in Their possessions ?

    @driggerfireon5760@driggerfireon576011 күн бұрын
    • They’re legally bound and ethically bound to not interfere with the biological ecosystem. You have to be a spectator, they are a camera crew not trained professional or state approved carers from where they are from. They is a visitor. As sad as it is, they have no choice. Record or not even get the chance to see the beauty of nature.

  • This video caused me a lot of anxiety…If I had known what it was really about, I would not have watched. It was extremely stressful to watch animals suffering, especially the poor baby elephant at the end. I often wonder that in these situations, there is a film crew and probably experts in the area…could they possibly have had a way to save that baby elephant before it died? Couldn’t they have distracted the mother away for just a bit to go in and get him? I think I may have to unsubscribe. Videos like these are way too stressful, for me at least.
