My daughter is called Sama because of this amazing woman
Oh Sama, as a fellow Palestinian living abroad I can totally understand where you are coming from. Music does connect us to the west and helps people relate to us but it's just that this is only happening in the recent years thanks Ofc to people like you is unfortunate. We are like everybody we are related but this should have been realized sooner......
literally the baddest girl alive. I was never into techno and she made me fall hard through that boiler room set years ago. saw her live in London this year and she's the funniest, chillest, coolest person to ever exist. we talked non stop about the uni we went to and about her hectic schedule/life. I felt like I'm talking to just another average person and it kept hitting me every 10 minutes or so that I'm chilling with one of my idols. a night I will never forget I hope she's taking care of herself wherever she is
That boiler room set is actually how I fell for her stuff. I'm so incredibly happy for all that's come her way since then, shit is truly amazing.
Techno will always win. Love your sets, but take your rest seriously, Sama'. The world is better with people like you in it.
Was thinking exactly the same thing! Rest in between sets! it s a marathon not a sprint ;-)
The simple fact that she made it this far coming from Palestine with the entire Israeli apartheid / occupation is truly ADMIRABLE . Mad respect SAMA. We love u
to my ear, to my spirit and ethos, Sama is the best techno artist. what a time to be alive!
She is iconic, not only for her DJsets, but also for her will to overcome boarders and restrictions.
snowboarders are really difficult to overcome
@@wavell14 that‘s right!
but she couldn't defeat her own demons. she looks like a fentanyl addict :(
@@wavell14u seen those two comedians in Southern California?
I saw her at Movement this year, and I went to an afterparty with her, Nastia and Maceoplex at the Masonic Temple. While tripping nutsack. Truly a mind blowing experience, Sama is one of my favorite DJs, and I'm so glad I got to see her live. We love you, Sama! 🥰
I saw her at Movememt this year too....I love her energy!
What is nutsack?
@@peznino1 means tripping so hard
😝 sounds like a blast ❤️🔥 Trippin ballzz
I was there too, it was amazing. Sama and maceo plex
Sama literally made me fall in love with techno again. It all became so dull, stale and same-y. Hoping to see her live someday & that she takes care of herself and has others who care about her, wherever she is right now 🥰
I cried through this whole video -- thank you for a magical production and thank you Sama for being the most badass woman !
Holy cow. We need to know more, please make more films like this about her!
This woman has quickly become my favourite DJ.
She's right, it makes everyone relatable. If I want to know what's going on in the world I watch DJ's and the crowd they play for. Palestine, what an eye opener.
I saw her for the first time at Coachella and I was really blown away how her style/sound set her apart from the rest of the techno Djs. One of my favorite sets from the day
Total respect, an inspiration to all of us who come from conflict post conflict war zones. Love from Guatemaya
israel is an apartheid
Authenticity is what I feel when I hear you, when I see you!! the best vibes for Palestina!
That Palestinian BR set was outstanding. A new sound that is hard to forget once you've heard it. I've relistened that set tens of times.
When she says “Nicole Moudaber knows who i am” and to think that she has done not one but 2!!! B2B with her is quite amazing!
Much love from Lebanon 🇱🇧 ❤️
Two weeks ago I found out about Sama and fell in love with her vibe. Then last week I was at Boom festival dancing like crazy and I looked up - and she was the one DJing. Blew my mind. I danced to the fullest. Fucking love her.
I’m from Dominican Republic 🇩🇴 and I love you and your music. You are a big inspiration and most important I love the way that you dance. We are a tiny island in the Caribbean, in a certain way we are not that free as people think they are there. It’s not paradise, although we have beautiful beaches and mountains. Dominicana think that they are free but we live in a country of police abuse, corruption, authoritarian mentality and backward ideas about other people and so on. I guess we are not different of other countries with problems. I need to also say that we like music and to dance like many other countries, that’s it. Its very unsafe, you can't have your natural hair without people passing comment, it is very unequal for women and gay people and there is a lot of hate towards our neighbors Haiti. Be aware of the police if they catch you with illicit substances they are going to squeeze your wallet and blackmail you with all kind of stuff. If you're light skinned you're a whitey and less of a man but if you're black your life is worth nothing and they shoot you for petty crimes in the street. We are the only country in the world with the Bible in the middle of our flag 🇩🇴 this is the first country where the Spanish Christian landed, brought their slaves and this still runs deep through society. This is not Palestine, we don’t have walls (yet) but there are a lot of people in DR that want to build a wall across the island to separate us from Haiti. Im writing all this to let you know as your number 1 fan in the Dominican Republic that these people are inviting you there, you’re from a very alternative scene but they are not free and that society is the first to judge you the moment you are a little bit different.
I hope you are safe Sama..my heart hurts for you and your country.
Wow this woman... living art... real artist... her music is so authentic, awsome. I never heard of her so far. I'm a fan now
Techno is a musical rebellion and Sama does it so well!
I just can't get enough of you. You are a real trooper. Your beat is just the best. Lots of love from Ireland 🇮🇪 💚
She is such a vibe !!
WoW I remember seeing her boiler room set and from that moment a huger open in mentwoards her and her artistry. Back then there were only three clips of her performing, two of which were from her apartment. Now in 2023 I see that she grew alot since then and there are alotnof sets to enjoy. Sama I wish you all the best and for me you are the coolest, most unique DJ out there. Keep up with the hard work, the world loves you ❤
Saw her do a 3 hour set. Best techno experience of my life so far
Sama is truly an inspiration to all.
Love and respect from Colorado USA. Stay safe and keep playing the music you love 👍

Techno is like the beats of our heart...and I've seen how techno has healed an old lady near to a heart attack. Literally!
Thanks so much' for posting
I discovered Sama thanks to her boiler room set. Still, learning more about an artist through these types of videos is really nice.
Techno and electronic music have been around since late 80s and early 90s, loved it in my teens and still love it in my 40s.
My all time favorite, can’t be more proud ❤️🌞

This music under the genre “Electronic” is going to live forever. Sama will go down as a creative artist who will have a great influence on the genre and culture as a whole. Enjoy the music. Much love from California
I remember watching this for the first time and I told myself I agree in what she’s saying that I just want to play music and dance there’s no other reason. Well, that changed my perspective in everything.
Awesome interview 🔥🔥🔥
Sama, WE KNOW WHO YOU ARE, you are The DJ! It is not for them you stand behind the decks. Names does not matter, unless they decide about your carrier. You play for those who dance. And WE KNOW WHO YOU ARE! One Love from the united crowd✌️
