Captain was like "I just wanted to boop the snoot"
thank you for describing a profound Butterfly moment
Considering the creatures we have a pets...yeahhhhhh we can see this happening
We domesticated wolves, creatures who once ate us. We domestcated cows, who once trampled us. We domesticated chickens...
I have 14 wolves that live at my cabin, it's a 5 day walk from the nearest road, was 3 days 50 + years ago when I built it. Every time I visit I get knocked down, licked and rubbed against Until the alpha female brings one of this years pup over and drops it in my lap. I love and respect all my animal friends. She and the pups share my bed so they will remember my scent and know I am a friend....
4000 quatloo's the humans cannot be contained!
You've seen too much Star Trek. 😂
@@jamiepatterson1214There's no such thing.
@@Pahoe77 🤣
This is what would happen with my daughter...the creatures she makes friends with make me think she is a Disney or fairytale princess.
😂😂 " a steamed company "? That's a real knee slapper there. 😂😂😂
The story was fine. The problem though was that if you read along with the story, the spelling of the names of the alien characters kept changing. This kind of distracted from the story. This could have been fixed if the person who created the podcast had bothered to read the story as it was voiced over and fixed the various spelling mistakes. Though most of the mistakes were with the alien names, there were a few that were just straight up spelling errors, involving common words.
This happens all the time. Sometimes gets rather annoying.
It seems to happen with every story that has a read along 😢
The "learning AI, is in fact not learning much at all.
The AI doesn’t consistently pronounce particular spelling so the trick is to spell so that the AI will pronounce the desired pronunciation by adjusting the spelling
@@richardbeier1773 or use a human with even a modicum of schooling.
that was a good story well narrated.
Did any of the humans who supposedly have a death grip on understanding and compassion see to it the Vorex was returned to his home planet?
Good.
Listening to this story reminds me of that one video where a little girl says "Can I pet that dawg" (it was a crocodile)
At least this voice does not hurt my ears, almost pleasant.
AI gets maudlin sometimes.
That Vorak would probably taste great . Nice big steaks too . I can almost taste them...
Are you, by any chance, human?
🚀🏴☠️🎸
I want one !
How many acres do you have with a cave maybe? 🐉🐉
Wouldn’t it be wonderful if humans could demonstrate such empathy and compassion to even the most benign fellow earth creatures rather then cause their continued extinction by our our actions of destruction of their habitat and food sources because of our own greed and hubris.
Primarily, habitat destruction. So, whose cities do YOU propose to level? Are the humans to be relocated or eradicated? If relocated, has the problem simply been relocated. If killed, would you want it to be done it by countrymen or by foreign troops? Asking as a writer...
As some constructive feedback, the story doesn't really go anywhere after the first half. It just repeats what's already been told, but tries to make it sound grander with each repetition. It doesn't build to anything that makes it worth listening to.
What is the name of the show?
But never use an AI woman's voice. What's up with that.
