(Actors Breaking Character)
Thanks, Alex for the voiceover!

  • I'm just glad we had somebody to talk thru the entire 9 minutes to explain the comedy because that's really what comedy is: only funny if explained.

    • RIGHT?!? Thank GOD for the voiceover. I know I wouldn't have understood the comedy if I didn't have a dull, monotone voice droning over 90% of it.

    • 😂. EXACTLY. yt is FUUULLLLL of unnecessary narration over OBVIOUS, self explanatory clips... so annoying. it really became inflationary within the last few years. everybody wants a piece of that sweet YT action. And they are doing everything to get it. This way of narration represents and propels the dumbing-down of a whole generation. you can feel it.

  • "Robert Downey Junior and Val Kilmer aren't comedy actors; and far from it." The ignorance of this statement is stunning. The start of RDJ's career is a series of young person comedies where he is the Wacky Friend. Val Kilmer's breakout role was as the star of the surreal comedy "Top Secret". Both are actors we only learned to take seriously LATER in their careers. But ignorance of anything longer than five years ago seems to be the rule for pop culture infotainment pap-producers like this one.

  • If you don't think Robert Downey jr is a comedic actor, you apparently haven't seen Tropic Thunder.

    • Absolutely ... he was so good in that. I don't know how the other actors got through it without constantly breaking into laughter.

  • Love the video. Just one correction. Robert Downer JR before he became known as Iron Man, he started out making Comedy movies in the 80's.

  • Honestly, I think this video and comment thread is a great example of, “don’t be a follower / do your own research / find out for yourself,” etc etc. Because, I read the comments first, but I still watched the video, and I liked it. The commentary wasn’t overdone like I expected it to be, or even unnecessary. You’re just explaining I’d say possibly very unknown facts, and that’s interesting to me. I’m still hearing and watching the bloopers which is funny, but hearing the history behind it informative. Don’t let the comments keep you down!

    • I also loved the Tangled out take. It was EXACTLY what I was thinking thru the original scene and was the clincher on that becoming 1 of my fav of the 'princess' Disney movies (I'm so not a fan of these 🤢 so that's not saying a lot, but at least they didn't get married in the end or anything)
