  • I was hoping to find out about dream meanings to never ignore but I don’t think the surface got scratched. The gold nugget is to ask a specific question as you fall asleep, and to strengthen your meditation practice.

  • I've been spiritual since I was 6 years old. Pushed it away most of my life dipping in and out from time to time. I have only recently in my late 50s realised I had nothing to be afraid of. Premonition dreams regularly, spirits visiting me in dreams from a young age with no one to help me with it. My instincts are so sharp since I became unafraid. Love this podcast it resonates so much 💜

  • Speaking as a practicing hypnotherapist, I would say that the reason that the dreaming brain does not give direct instructions is that the language of the dreaming brain is primarily metaphorical and even quite playful - it loves puns! I often use this with my clients and feeding them metaphorical healing stories under hypnosis often has an effect on their dreams, which confirms that I am speaking directly to their subconscious.

  • Thank you for this episode. It validated a lot of experiences i have had in my life. I have been doing dreamwork since 1962. When I was a little girl, my Grandmother told me, "when you pray, you talk to God. When you dream, God answers." This focused me intensely on capturing, remembering and analyzing my dreams since I was 6 years old. My Grandmother would call me every day and ask what I had dreamt. She was talented at understanding the dreams of others. Her interest made me think that dreams are important. I was a bookworm and searched in the library for books to help me better understand my dreams. They were scarce. I did find one wonderful book called Dreams a Way to Listen to God by Morton Kelsey that followed a path similar to my Grandmother's approach. I noticed as an adult that people tended to discount their dreams, which I had found gave me great insight and understanding. I had lucid dreams, health diagnostic dreams, and prophetic dreams. I journaled all my dreams until I went to college. After graduation, my sister and I gave workshops on using dreamwork to increase personal power and spiritual growth. We stimulated the senses of the participants and encouraged sharing dreams with a class partner every day. The teller can hear their own symbols better sometimes when sharing their dreams. This increased everyone's recall ability and self confidence in interpreting and understanding their own dreams. Dreaming is a powerful tool that connects us with our higher selves and others. Everyone would benefit from greater focus in this area and seeing their dreams as significant.

    • I'm so interested in your work, do you have an online workshop...recently I've been having recurring dreams especially when I take my afternoon naps, I wish I can figure out what they mean. Can you help me please?

      @jnac8857@jnac8857 Жыл бұрын
    • @@jnac8857 I'm retired now. I understand how you feel. Recurring dreams mean the message is urgent and important. Write ✍ down every detail you remember of what you see, hear, taste, smell, feel, or say in the dream. Review what you've written every day for clues to the meaning of the message. Consider the dream on 4 levels: physical (body), emotional (feelings), mental (thoughts/memories), and spiritual. Look for puns and other plays on words. You have the tools within you and the ability to decipher their meaning. Think about the context and ambience of the dream. Is it inside or outdoors? Is it sunny and bright or dark and gloomy? What is the mood? Lastly, write down a question that you want answered about the recurring dream and accept the new dream as the answer. I hope this helps.

  • Thank you for this interview and for sharing your experience with the dream Alex. I´ve often asked why we get these messages in the form of metaphors which are so difficult to interpret. I believe it is our guides that send us these messages and they are in a metaphor format because they cannot interfere with our free will. However if you meditate and ask with ernest what a dream means I believe that the message is clarified. How amazing your dream, I believe that you did have to start the show when you did just as Prince had to record his songs at 3 in the morning so Michael Jackson didn´t get them LOL. If you hadn´t started this show somebody else would have, the world, or at least a significant part of it, is ready for this information. Congratulations on having the courage to take the action you needed to take.

  • These days, the dreams I have in deep sleep are usually a mish mash of a bunch of stuff I saw or experienced during the day that had been arranged into a story. I'm quite interested in the thoughts I have during the in-between phase of being asleep and awake. I find that's when I get premonitions and sometimes hear voices (which aren't scary and usually sound comforting).

The next thing i know is feeling arms/hands come up and strangling me. Before I was fully awake I still felt the hands on my neck and felt a feminine energy. The only thing I can find is that this could be a sign of sleep apnea.
