    • It baffles me how they can get away with putting inverted commas around a quote that never came out of his mouth, you could sue newspapers back in the day for doing shit like that. This clickbait generation just seems to be getting worse and worse, its all about triggering people by using polarising text to get a cheap click rather than just making great content and allowing that to do the talking.

Carragher was wrong to retaliate, by spitting water at a car. Was Carragher aware there was a teenage girl in the passenger seat? No. The driver of the car wound down the passenger window to continue hurling abuse at Carragher, all the while, recording what was happening. Then, Carragher spits the water at the car, and some of it comes through the window and hits the girl. The girl informs her father that the water landed on her. The father/driver, not in the least bit concerned about the welfare of his daughter, for two reasons: his reckless driving chasing after Carragher to hurl abuse whist using his phone to record the events. And the other reason, the fact that he sounds delighted that his daughter has been sprayed with water, because now all he’s thinking about is £££ signs. Le Tiss was a gifted entertainer, probably one of the most talented of his generation, but he was so laidback that he was never too concerned about counting trophies and England caps, he just wanted to play the beautiful game. Carragher just tried to make up for his lack of talent with aggression and determination, not to mention a fair amount of foul play and shithousery. He was essentially a footballing troll and now he has become a punditry troll.
