In my experience, the smaller the machine, the more difficult it is to operate, since the little ones jump around so much it’s hard to have a smooth control of the sticks when you’re bouncing around on them!

Chris, using goats works well for lots of things too. Fence them off, make sure they've got water and are protected from predators (like putting a donkey in with them-donkeys'll fuck shit up!), let 'em be for a bit, and poof! So far as I know, too, they don't need DEF. It does work, and in a way you can't get any other way. Even on jobs where you'll use regular equipment, you can prep the areas with goats while you're working on other stuff. I'd give it a try at your place, just to see how well it works.

You know; those fields, surrounded by trees, including that beautiful oak that really resembles an English oak, plus the wonderful lake with it’s little island; would make a perfect little estate. All it needs is a modest little Georgian mansion, two stories with attics, built in orange red bricks, twelve paned Venetian styled sash windows and a good barn and a coach house similarly built with the same bricks and you’d have perfection. Sheep grazing in the park; horses in a paddock and you would have heaven :-)

There should be some great Chris sized fires in the near enough future!! 😂😂 Looks like the owner better start cutting, bush hogging the areas you cleared pretty soon or they are starting the downhill slide right back to what it was! 😂. That the tough part of clearing so much!you have to maintain it now!! If he can move cattle in soon enough, it will work as well. Just set up an electric fence!! They work! Even worked on the big ole Grizzly we have here at the cabin!! He has a 6 foot fence to climb to get into the yard. At 3 ft he has a hot wire to deal with, then at 6.5 ft there’s one on top and an insurance wire as well at the 8 ft mark!! He has been hit by the lower 2 so far and hasn’t given up. He may have some shotgun blanks fired at him today if he comes back this evening,, 😂😂. That is what worked on him last fall. He can smell the compost pile. My fault, but I do have proper deterrents in place. He is the most stubborn bear I have dealt with in at least 30 years!!

just a thought, instead of waiting for it to rain why not get a pump and spray the close pile of brush with water from the pond, then stick a match to it, that way your not just emptying the pond and wasting the water, your making use of it. you've got a pump haven't you? huh! huh! 😁😎
