Sometimes the best things in life are closer to 'free' than we might expect... 👀
This drone really goes to show that you don't need to break the bank to buy something that is a whole lot of fun (Even for a pilot who's been in the hobby for over 2 years now)!

  • I really enjoy my Meteor75 and Meteor75 Pro. Both ELRS. I've configured my 75 for indoor (airmode disabled, scaled throttle a bit) and use my 75 Pro for outdoor, primary for learning/practice.

    • I just bought the 75 and 75 pro and I intend to do the exact same thing! Lol! It's getting a little cold for hours long 5" freestyle trips and I hate flying from inside the car.

  • Your Filmography, Editing and Storytelling is Amazing! I'd encourage you to apply your skills to another niche/topic rather than FPV. There is a limited market in FPV and you'd be destined for a Gold Play Button in a larger niche

    • Haha thanks man! It’s alright with me, I love the FPV space and the community is awesome, right now it’s the perfect path for me ✌️ I reckon we will be the first drone channel to reach some pretty rad numbers one day 😉

  • Great video! 👍🏻 That meteor 75pro frame surprised me! I got one just to try out the platform, and absolutely fell in love! Best frame out of BetaFPV, hands down!! I got another few right away and have been super happy.

  • A bit of a tip of you're finding it too throttle sensitive - reduce your throttle scale in betaflight and add throttle expo around your hover point to make it less "bobbly"

    • Thank you I appreciate that! I’ll definitely have a look into it 😊

  • Had this drone(the previous non pro version) for two years(flown more than 2000 batteries), nothing broke except the frame but a designed a 3d printable one(you can find it on Thingiverse). It was a lot of fun but I lost it in the woods. Looking forward to see the review of Meteor85

  • Thank you for this video. I am bringing meteor75 pro to my class next term (high school). There are not many videos about this drone so i had some doubt over my decision and i watched a lot of JB videos. I even had to rely on a Grrman video to help me setup the drone. BTW I have destroyed one already. I'm very new to FPV. I used DJI tello last year and it's very hard to spot excitement. I'm excited but I need to practise flying in the acro mode. My hdzero kust arrived but now im hunting for tbs fusion or immersionrc rapidfire.

    • Great to hear! There certainly weren't too many videos on this drone indeed, happy to help out there. Sorry to hear that you've destroyed one though, just remember that stick time is the best way to progress ;) If you find you're getting stuck with that though, I've actually got a weekly email with tips and help, so it would definitely be worth joining up to if that's the case. subscribepage.io/brodiereed Looking forward to hearing how the whoop goes for you!

  • Hello, the drone works really great but sometimes one propellers(always the same) is not spinning or is not spinning well and the led is red when I armed it and doesn't want to take of and fly but I have to arme it and disarme it a couple time before it work. Can you help me?

  • Secure that pigtail to frame with a small zip tie. Now you won't have it pulled from the solder on board.

  • Hi Brodie. Thanks for sharing. Interested in buying 1 as well. However I see you are using DJI goggles. I can't identify in the specs what can make the drone compatible with DJI goggles. Reason I am asking this because very new in FPV and drone DIY and about to have my DJI goggles, the only goggles I (will soon) have.

    • Hey mate, no worries at all! I’m using the DJI Goggles V2 with an analog converter (Basically they can’t accept any analog signals, only work with DJI HD Digital). I’ve got some links to the adapter in the description along with the module that I use, however I would recommend that you have a quick search up of the BDI DJI Analog adapter and see what it can do. This sounds like a topic that I should maybe cover in a livestream, I’ll link you through to it if that comes to fruition as well.

    • Honestly they have such different use cases. A good question to ask yourself is what do you have room for? Do you have large areas that you can go to and fly or are you more restricted to flying indoors or around smaller areas like playgrounds and stuff?

  • Happymodel Mobula7 1s flies well and solid about 35% cheaper. Happymodel components never let me down, and plenty of spares. Why pay more for Betafpv, as components all manufactured in China anyways. Only difference is the motors are a little bigger so are more powerful to handle the heavier weight of the Meteor75 frame. I might swap out Mobula7 components and try it in a Meteor75 Pro frame

    @Jacknoham@Jacknoham5 ай бұрын
    • Those plastic connectors on the AOI break eventually and no longer hold the motor connector firmly. You can try bending the pins a little so they provide more friction, or you can solder the wires and save a gram or so. Also, it may not be the plastic connector but the metal having dirt or oxidation. Try some contact spray.
