Standing Next to You is easily the best song of the year. I’ve never heard Jungkook sound better. I’ve listened to the entire album about 3 times today, and I have Standing Next to You on repeat. Gosh, it’s SO good. So proud of my guy. 💜

This is an unbelievable MV that I have ever seen in my whole 57 years of life. Wow!!!! This goes beyond a 10 out of 10 rating. It absolutely had everything! I honestly was speechless when I watched it for the first time, I was memorized by its grandeur of it all. This whole album release is something. The songs are fononibol and show cases his vocal abilities . Plus, his visuals and charisma are on another level.

Pretty sure MJ was just reincarnated into JK. There are also so many BTS Easter eggs in this. My absolute favorite! I also love that Ian Eastwood was added as a dancer. Perfection! And…. Keone Madrid choreographed this!!! ❤ 🔥

I actually can't even believe how good this is. I know what his vocals are capable of, but DAMN. The style and rhythm, his performance, his dancing...it was all PERFECT. This was a clear tribute to MJ and I loved every millisecond of what he was able to pull off here. He is in a league of his own, that's for sure.

The expression on your face D.T. when watching this, says it all. I had the same reaction. JK? WOW!! The best song he's ever sang. Vocals were great. Dancing? OMG the choreographer knew what they were doing knowing how good JK dances, this was outstanding!! The facial expressions on JK's face, the sheer energy and intensity shows how much JK was really into this. He captured the moments and gave us all his everything into this song. Just to let you know I'm a senior Army (77 yrs old) and I love Kpop, especially all BTS members. I just don't think that any of the members can actually top this MV video and song. Everyone involved in this production should be congratulated. The attention to detail, the quality acting and passion, the fabulous choreography and the insane music and lyrics are unbelievable. I haven’t felt this excited about a song and dance routine since Michael Jackson, but JK’s sexiness in this MV is unmatched by anyone! JK, your life is going to change!
such an homage to Michael too, it's wonderful....I swear the voice that yells "bass and drums" is Michael Jackson's voice, dying to know, but haven't heard anything. When JK does his performance video, he dresses exactly in MJ's famous outfit of white vneck tee, black ankle pants, white sox, black loafers. He (all of them actually) show so much respect to MJ and other American acts sure wish America would show BTS the respect they're due. I never heard any of these songs on the radio all year (all of their solo projects), and we sure know they deserved to be played, if they had been american, they sure would have. I think racism is alive and well in the music industry, which is a shame..but damn, incredible.the audacy live performance of JK is phenomenal.

This MV literally took my breath away! The music, his voice, the choreography, the acting the intensity, his look, the lyrics were all out of this world! I don’t know why, but it nearly brought me to tears. I think this is Jungkook’s best work. There is no doubt that we’re talking about passion, love and sexuality here, but it is done in a much more mature and adult way than his previous singles. I love that the sensuality was off the charts without the adolescent “in your face” crudeness of his rap songs. This is what I call SEXY! This is what I call a MAN! JK has grown up!

He definitely is… the new King. Even if some are complaining he didn’t write the songs himself. We all know he can do that too, As wel as produce. He has proved himself over and over in the past. He just chose not to and focus on the vocals and performance this time. This song really showcases his vocal abilities, and the choreo and MV are fantastic! I can’t wait to see him perform this live. I love the fact that he has been working with the same group of dancers for the past few projects. JK had risen above himself and it contributes to BTS as well. Clearly a tribute to the King of pop MJ, and a lot of BTS references in the video as well. I just love him, he deserves a the succes.
