This should be a rule in the NBA. If a player doesn’t like a call they should 1 on 1 the ref lol.
YES PLEASE!!!
That would be so fuckkn live!!!
Lol all the refs are double the age of the players, silly
That would only lead to a lot of calls getting reversed. 😅
Lol NBA player hard fouls the other team ref: foul. Player: shoot for it
Wasn't even that quick. Just smooth, flawless execution.
I hate you bro Lol
Only took 6 seconds, how is that not quick???
@@TheDougSpot chill he was complimenting lol
@@jaboy8603 I get that, but it was quick🤷🏾♂️
You sound like a 2k commentator
Put some respect on my whistle
🤣
Yessir!!! Ha
🤣🤣🤣🤣👍🏿
💀
🗿🗿🗿🗿
He was like ok guys lol let's get back to reality I'm a ref not Allen Iverson. Refs mind: Man...I should've been drafted in '92
This man was probably 5 in ‘92
@@nakking3224 Oh you thought I was saying Iverson was drafted in 92. Nope
That ref is no older then 25 he looks like around 23 22 and the kids look between 14 and 17
@@nakking3224 I was younger. A.I. is my favorite player. 1996 draft.
Damn yall are too literal to just enjoy the joke. Smh.
New rule: If the ref can't ball, then they can't make the call..
Facts!💯
That sounds like a good idea to me👍🏿
More than reasonable
Well said “NEW RULE WILL BE REVIEWED BY BOARD AND 100% WILL BE ENFORCED”
So if James Harden decides to travel and take 5 steps and if the ref can’t hoop Harden gets the no call? 😂
I like how he got straight back to reffing 😭
Walk with me people. First thing I noticed was the no-dribble crossover to size up the defender and a quick pound dribble which allowed the momentum to execute the spin move. The nutmeg stepback combo was a thing of beauty then, proceeds to green the fadeaway. Salute.
thanks marv
He really like that! @RefBuckets
Sounded like the Gordon Ramsey of basket ball
You play too much 2k my nigga
@@mrslammahoe956 ikr
If he was an NBA ref I'd respect every call he makes. He obviously knows basketball
He's technically a ref, but today he's a teacher 😁
Right lol
😂😂
Don't reach youngblood...dont reach
A Professor, even 😜
Well said
Smart ref… do something like that and no one will argue with you the entire game.
I tried this - - missed the shot and got fired.
@@samkostos4520 Good. 🤣🤣🔥
Ever since that day, that refs been respected.
Mannn. Stepback against the defender, even the cameraman was leaning. 😅
Travel
Facts 😂😂😂😂
"Even the cameraman" 😭😭😭😭😭
@@ernestp.worrell8871 that wasn’t even close to a travel lol
That separation was ridiculous. Kid was like 10 feet away at the end smh
The finesse comes with age. When your young it’s all about being quick but as you get older it’s all about the right time!
Agreed
The kid probably was talking all game and the ref like come on hit the young man with the step back and didn't change facial expression. Love it!!!
He raising the bar for these refs out here lol
Smooth as silk ref
Damn, ref! He knew that was gonna be a cakewalk. It was still pretty impressive nonetheless.
He does it against grown men too lol... peep the new video we just dropped
Never underestimate your opponent, that kid will never forget this lesson
The only person that I'd believe if they told me that injuries ruined their nba future😂
Facts 😂
The fact the kid was smiling when the ref bounced the ball between his legs makes it funnier. 😂
That was flawless, my respect goes out to this referee.
He had to show them he true to the game 💪🏽🏀🤣
The face on that kid in the background. Priceless.
Haha.. Schooling the young buck with ease. Thought he was gonna go organized and took him street. 🤷🏻♂ 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
That's Ref Lai he's legit lmao 😭😭 he does it to grown men too swear
Most people don't have that type of composure, even against kids, to stay professional like that don did.
With that smoothness you could say his old schooler , calm but deadly 😎
Its that step back for me 🔥🔥
They had to call this brotha,”Gravy” in high school cuz that was smooth as a mfr!!! Salute to him and Peace and Blessins to all!
That was too damn smooth
So impressive. A grown man beat a kid. 👏
Can you?
@@erwinamanciosilva7693 yeah. That's not the point though.

Still is a baller

Lol I love the positivity in this thread. We’re all ballers guys! 🥺
At least you know when he calls a call he knows what the hell he's talking about

Beautifully done

I was waiting for the And 1 MC to be like "Ohh Baby!!!"
You know he is good by just looking how he swing the ball under to get space
Hell yea
It looks like that he wasn't even trying it looks smooth. I'm guessing that the ref is a pro.
That step back was 🔥

Wasn’t even that quick, just smooth, flawless execution
#8 got benched after that play
Nobody: Ref: I’ma dribble 5, no 4 times then light you ass up Also ref: holding, 5 yard penalty; repeat 2nd down
Wrong sport homie
Holding 10 yards bruh

All refs should be able to do this... if you call yourself a good ref. This guy ... this guy right here...
MVR = MOST VALUABLE REFF
It wont count but it was a great moment, and a man with some great skills
Westbrook in his free time helping the kids out.
Even the cameraman hit a lean on that stepback lmao
Took that boy to school no pen or notebook needed
(Me looking up slightly with tears in my eyes while I say )Omg OMG!!!!!!!! IT's the most beautiful move I've ever seen in my life
This has to be a young red because it’s a rule as Refs that we don’t shoot around anymore🥺🥺🥺

Definitely gotta respect a ref on his calls (a touch more) after showing u that.
Smh that ref put ole boy to bed with that bucket 🏀
Don’t know why people get surprised by referees being good. Most are current or former players that obviously know the game well otherwise they wouldn’t be a referee.
I think it stems from in the US, people can't play football. So when kids are playing football at camp or whatever, they have some random parent ref the match. So people grow up thinking refs can't play the game. But if you go to anywhere else, the ref is usually a member of the club, either an older player or a retired player. David beckham talked about it a bit, because obviously they all expect him to ref the match because he's yknow, David beckham..
Ref embarrassing my son you’re fired 🤣🤣🙏🏾
That was too smooth and precise like he does that every morning
That's what you call posterized, get the frame hang him on the wall and add him to the other defenders that have tried and died at the mercy of this referee....🏀
I don't think you know what "posterized" means
@@kingdribs9286 It's when Vince Carter DUNKED on 7'footer Frederic Weiss in the 2000 Olympics ,look it up, he was posterized, traumatized and Victimized..🏀🤕
@@x-man4350 bro this is a video of aguy dribbling and making a stepback jumper . It's not poster. And Vince's dunk wasn't really a poster. He flew over that guy
@@kingdribs9286 that’s a poster nigga what are you saying
@@Fixdaleek do you have to use the n word in order to be able to construct a sentence? And no it's not a poster. Posters are Wade dunking on that tall bulls player with a weird name type of dunks.
I'd do that same move at the gym and you know damn well some mfers would call travel. I'd be like "nah...I didn't dribble the first two steps. Planted my left foot as a pivot, pivoted left, *dribbled!*, switched my feet, dribbled again, between the legs, recovered the ball, shot....." They'd be like "Nah, nope. That's a travel, you stopped, put both hands on the ball, pivoted, then lifted your pivot foot, turned around, then dribbled between the legs...."
The travel actually happens when he takes the hop backwards before taking the shot.
Everything was clean until the hop back. Pivot foot came back down. Simple as that.
@@marcusmoser6911 Thank you for being one of the few I've seen with enough sense and knowledge to know what he did was a rule violation.
@@lukridzombie, it also depends on the rule book. People are assuming NBA travel rules are applicable at this age group.
@@marcusmoser6911 I admit that was exactly where my thoughts about it are coming from, I didn't know they had different rules for different ages. But I also thought the rules would be the same so that as you get older you wouldn't have gotten used to doing something that would later get called.
Refin is this dude's side hustle. He's a straight baller
