It seems like many people expect this to be Dreamworks or something.
Don’t worry darling, small croc wanted to show the under water world to the wilder beast, yet he’s been saying no for the last couple of months. The girl’s raised on Disney human characterisation of animals. And she’s learnt a good lesson there. Nature, is just nature, not cruel or kind.

Empathy is an emotional response, not a rational evaluation.
@@marcusfossa6695 but rational evaluation can help control our emotions
@@macattack1740 - True, I was just explaining that empathy is an emotion. It would be like if your mom died or one of your kids died, you wouldn't be able to brush it off by using logic. The same is true for people with empathy when they see the suffering of others.
@@marcusfossa6695 I agree if it was my mom or kid yes 100% you're right logic would not help that. However we arw talking about a wild animal here and that's the circle of life. I've enjoyed this interplay. Thanks for the friendly debate
Preach it! The reality of the wild. It is not a Disney film
Best family holiday ever.
Quite a few years ago, some suburban-dwelling friends of my brother-in-law's related the story of taking their kids out to a turkey farm to give them a "nice old-fashioned Thanksgiving experience". The farmer invited them to pick out a turkey; they did; he then proceeded to pick it up and snap its neck, right there on the spot. The indignance with which the guy told this story amused me greatly. I said, "That's how it works on a farm." He countered, "Yeah, but to do it right in front of the kids like that ...!" I said, "His kids have probably seen it a thousand times. How would he know what your kids have or haven't seen?" Basically he was pissed at the farmer for not considering his point of view while he, himself, hadn't considered the farmer's. So the moral is: if you don't want to see turkeys die, don't go to a turkey farm; if you don't want to see wildebeest die, don't go on a crocodile safari.
Wow! That 2nd one was BIG! (And if you don't have the stomach for Safari, lady...stay home)
When the grim reaper calls, you want it to be quick. The Wildebeest was better off being taken by the larger croc' rather than an hour or 2 slow death with the smaller croc, or it may have escaped with a broken leg and then be eaten alive by wild dogs or hyenas.

Some people have this thing called "empathy". If you look it up in the dictionary, it says empathy is, "the ability to understand and share the feelings of another." I can't really explain it to you because you have to be capable of feeling it to really understand, but anyways that explains it.
@@marcusfossa6695 Some people understand that this shit happens every day whether you see it or not. So crying about it won't change the outcome and the carnivore needs to eat as well. We can feel sorry for the other animal without being extremely emotional about it lol.
@@BlueLightningHawk - Yeah, wasn't trying to be confrontational, I was just explaining why the girl was crying to people such as yourself who do not feel the pain of others. You can type it into Google, it's called "empathy". Some people can understand and feel the pain of others.
