  • Great video, there’s a Pete Horne try around 2013 v Northampton Saints where he wins it at the death with a mazy run from his own half. Also, anything Niko Matawalu used to do as well was pretty special!

    • Pretty sure it wasn't. I remember going through the highlights and seeing multiple angles of that tackle. Koroibete got lucky he wasn't called for not wrapping in the tackle. It was a very dangerous tackle at that speed. I think there may have been a tussle that formed after that tackle between the Springboks and Aussies over that tackle actually.

    • I could be wrong about the tussle but the tackle even if the case was made that the Aussie tried to wrap is kind of due to the tackle being made while the player was in air. It's just a hard call to make if it was legal or not due to the airtime. Cause a tackle on an aerial player is supposed to be illegal but technically you're not supposed to jump over a tackle in some leagues so idk.

  • The only thing more powerful in rugby that being the only one on the field who can actually run... is being the only one on the field with a brain :D both things are rare though in a game that literally allows tripping and celebrates it as some kind of heroic accomplishment :P

He could score from anywhere at any time. a true athlete. He wide arcing runs and balance with pace has never been matched. And there are many many amazing 15s out there.
