MalaMala Safari Moments: Episode 9.
We find both sons of the Emsagweni female leopards competing over an impala kill in a Marula Tree. The Marthly pride cross the Sand River. A heron bites off more than it can chew?
...
From MalaMala Game Reserve to wherever you are in the world, we'll bring you moments from our daily safaris in one of Africa's most iconic private game reserves. This is essentially a continuation of our 'Rangers in Isolation' series which was filmed during the national Lockdown.
Wow their ability to tussle in a tree and still not fall is extraordinary. The power and coordination is incredible!
Leopard is my second favorite animal... I love cats....🦁🐆🐯😼
the two leopards, the balance and control as they fought on the tree branch, then the lightning reflex as the carcass was about to fall off the branch, just freaking amazing..
😎 Thank you watching!
just like human society
Always a pleasure to see the Marthly Pride. Just a little longer, hang in on there little cub! 🙏 Once you’re an adult, you and mama can make baby cubs and rebuild the pride 🥰
Thank you for watching
Do they mate with their sons!?
49 seconds in....whoa.....the strength of those leopards. Wow.
Good.good.seen.fight.wonder.thanku.mala.mala.🙏🙏🙏👌👌😍
I have Blue Heron where I live. Beautiful birds. I enjoy watching them hunt. I can view them just a couple hundred meters from my house.
wow just the strength of their upper body alone, being able to hold onto the branch with their front legs

,Véritable, bagage, entre frères ,ou de simples jeux, toujours est ils qu' ils sont d une Beautés, Véritable. MERCI ,POUR CETTE VIDÉO. LOVE .🙏❤️.🙏❤️🙏❤️,
Notre plaisir. Merci d'avoir regardé!
Love seeing the Marthly Pride with full bellys. She's an excellent mother! Now they just have to build up their pride!
🤞 Thank you for watching!
No comparten para nada de más malo son
Pride? These are leopards, not lions.
The panic face was adorable, as is (for now!) the squabbles between the two brothers. Let's hope it never becomes a lethal fight for territory, since both are lovely creatures, and have beaten the odds so far to grow up as big as they are. I am also amazed at the heron. I though that fish was getting dumped back for someone else to eat. That gullet expanded almost like a snake!
😂 Thank you for watching!
Всё, что снимаете, необычайно интересно !!! Про леопардов 🐆😈🐆 вообще потрясающе 👍👍
So glad to see the Tsalala lioness. Thanks!
Our pleasure! Thank you for watching!
What a hair raising interaction between the sons: tremendous adaptability. Luckily, they didn’t have an inelegant dismount. Beautiful to see Tsalala lioness & her cub💓aaah the bond. How amazing is nature? The heron is wading through the water seeing plentiful times, that’s definitely a mouthful. *Numero Uno, MalaMala*😇pretty sure this is my new fav. Grazie tante❣🙏❣
❤️
It is amazing how many things the Tsalala lioness teaches her daughter, like crossing carefully the water. I suppose, we are all glad to see that small prides, like Marthly or Sparta, are doing well. The same for every lone lion or lioness, since they are more vulnerable. We would like them to thrive and become large prides, as they used to. Thank you for updating.
Our pleasure. Thank you for watching!
Omg. Our beloved Marthly pride. Absolutely love these 2. Glad they have full bellies and both look amazing, cub is getting big. Hope to see these 2 with cubs one day. Stay safe and healthy gorgeous ones......💕💕💕💕🇨🇦
Thank you watching!
Boys fighting on the tree what a clip!!
Thank you for watching Rajan!
Beautiful sightings of the lions and leopards! Thanks, MalaMala.👍 I am so happy to see the Tsalala queen and her cute cub are doing very well, their bellies look full. May they all stay safe and strong.
Our pleasure!
Mama is an incredible hunter!!!💪💪💪💪🦁👑
nicely video i am Bangladeshi
Leoapards duals over the impala body is exquisiste. Excellent find and photography.
Loved the “Look of panic” on the leopards face, too funny.
😇 Thank you watching!
Phenomenal leopard interaction.
😎
What a show boys! Visual and audio of the 2 of them in that tree was incredible especially when they almost fell. Thankfully, it did not escalate. So happy to see our warrior Queen and her daughter. Wishing them continued success. Thanks Guys as Always.
Our pleasure Kimberly.
No brotherly love between those two young leopards. I wonder if they will always be adversaries? Perhaps when they each have their own territory, they'll no longer need to fight. As a bird watcher, love the scene at the end with the heron determined to swallow that fish. Thank you, as always, for sharing the Mala Mala.
Thank you watching!

Thank you so much for sharing this video! Love the big cats. The leopards were beautiful, but queen tsalala lioness and her princess cub made my day!!!! They are definitely ine of my favorites! The princess is growing so beautifully and will be a warrior queen like her mother. 👑💪🦁💪😍💪❤💪❤
Our pleasure!
Jaja muy buena la comida del leopardo,,, soy de Bolivia, Eugenio Hoyos,,, gracias por el reportaje
I guess I am quite randomly asking but do anybody know of a good site to stream new movies online ?
@Amari Tyson i use FlixZone. Just google for it =)
@Amari Tyson i use Flixzone. You can find it by googling =)
Amazed that blue heron was able to fly off so easily, with a fish that weighs at least half his weight.
Wow, It kinda feels like your actually there watching! I wish I could be there actually seeing all the action. I have stage 4 throat cancer, but what y'all are doing is on my bucket list, but I can't afford to do what y'all do. But I'm happy watching these wonderful animals. Thank you so much 💗.
@Debra Watton - I’m so sorry that you are battling this dreadful disease. I hope you have excellent care, your loved ones close, and enough days when you feel well enough to enjoy crossing off some of those bucket-list items. Sending you warm wishes from Downunder, Nadine 😘❤️🌹
Thank you for the kind words Debra. And thank you for watching our videos. We are sorry to hear about your cancer but we're happy that we're making you happy ❤️
Keep up the great work you are doing, and please be safe
The fotographer is fantastic. THank you, a nice video!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for watching!
As far as action clips go, you just keep raising the bar! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I can’t believe how agile those young leopards were and how fiercely they were prepared to fight over the kill-both the owner and the thief, whichever was which. Along with everyone else I think it’s wonderful to see the Tsalala/Marthly ladies again, looking happy and well. ❤️🐾😊 All I can say about that fish-swallowing heron is that he must have super-strength digestive juices! Thanks as always for sharing the highlights from your special corner of the world with us, @MalaMala Game Reserve.
😇😇😇
Good job
Beautiful sightings thank you MalaMala👍🏻
Thanks for visiting!
😱❤️ Sjoe amazing, love the sounds

Panic at the Disco when that impala started to fall. Lol 😂
😂😂 Thank you for watching!
What a thrilling clip of the 2 leopard brothers...I honestly thought one one falling out the tree...I think there is only a leopard what could hang on to a branch like that lol....and lovely to see the queen lion and her daughter looking so well...fantastic and really good to see!...and also thought the clip of the heron sting a fish aslmost as big as him was great clip!...much credit to you rangers...fantastic as always is many thanks...take care and have a great weekend!
😂❤️
Wow, amazing sighting and incredible audio of the leopards. One could really see they meant business. In a way its sad that they will part company but that is how it is with leopards, solitary and elusive. Awesome as always MalaMala, thank you so much.
Thank you again Annette 😉
Saludos desde Chile a todo el mundo 🐯🐆🐞🐝🐜🐼

Pure strength to circle a tree branch suspended in air
Leopard fighting in the tree was amazing! Nice to see the lone lioness and her cub doing well!
Thank you for watching!
Wow, the 3 yr old brothers are not very tolerant of each other these days! Great Video Nice to see the Marthly ladies doing well and the heron swallowing a bird almost as big as he was! Thank you for sharing
Thank you watching!
It’s a fish he swallows
Too funny leopards righting over food in the tree while droping food at the same time never seen that before great sighting .. Thank you MalaMala
Glad you enjoyed it. Thank you watching!
Thank you for the magnificent squabbling leopards ... I also enjoyed the "panic face" ... and the news of mama lion and her baby. So pleased the heron finally got that fish down it's gullet, it looked a bit uncomfortable for a while. Stunning videography as always. God bless, xxx. 💕🐾🐾
Thank you watching!

Thank you for watching

its very funny video
Fantástico Vídeo. ...👊👊👊
Thank you watching!
Jajaja!
❤️
Wow, exciting content! It was quite entertaining after learning the leopard brothers often steal each other’s meal and squabble. I hope it never gets too serious. Amazing recovery, and twice! My FAV Marthly gurls... hands down my favorite. Queen and Princess look well. That warms my heart ❤️. Praying 🙏 for a long successful future. Loved the heron as he worked the extra large fish down. Incredible sighting from start to end. You never disappoint... Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Awwww, luuuv luv this mother-daughter duo. They are just magnificent, mesmerizing & so loving. Stay healthy. Eat well beautiful queens.
It really amazes me how much grip leopards have with their claws I know if that was any other big cat they would have fallen off the tree
Thank you for watching!

Leopards... Lords and Masters of skill! how old are they?
They will turn 3 in November. Thank you for watching!
Mantap bosQu 👍
❤️
The panic face tho 🤣 Epic🦾
Loved the two leopard brothers going at it for the kill. I imagine if the one leopard had dropped the kill, then there would really be a scramble and brawl to retrieve it. Great video. At first, I thought the heron was swallowing more than it could digest, but walla!
So did we Ann! Thank you for watching.
اللهم صل وسلم على نبينا محمد
Yes, the Tsalala ladies!
😉 Thank you for watching

K BARBARO CON ESOS LEOPARDO PELEANDO LA PRESA Y NO SE CAYERON NINGUNO DE LOS DOS.PERO SU PUSO BUENA LA ADRENALINA
Loved this! Especially the slow mo!!! Leopards really are loners. Not like cheetahs where , even though they also are loners, they often form a coalition and help each other if they are siblings. Not sure if that’s just for a time or as long as possible, but Leopards NEVER do that. Even when they have cubs they eat separately . At least most of the time.
Hi Lilly - yes, leopard lives are generally solitary as are female cheetahs. Male cheetahs will usually form coalitions which they will stay in. Thank you for watching.
Please don’t fight, love you 😘
Thank you for watching!
Wow amazing
Thank you for watching!
@@MalaMalaGameReserve ❤❤👍👍
Interesting leopard brothers and always happy to see Tsalala lioness and her cub are doing well, the cub is around 18-19 month old ,right?
Correct - 19!
Wow , excellent camera work. 😄👏👏👍.
Thank you very much!
Woah. Smaller bites, hungry Heron.
😂 Thank you watching!
THank you, a nice video!
Lindo dois gatinho em cima da árvore.
Okay, the epic leopard fight in the tree isn't something you see everyday and gets you going, but the topper to me was that Green-backed Heron. I thought, no way is that bird going to be able to swallow that. Heron proved me wrong.
😂 It proved us all wrong
The fiercest gets the meal!
💪
Hot damn! Their strength to hold on and pull themselves up the tree branch is amazing! MalaMala: Are leopard claws the same size as lion claws? The Blue Heron is so beautiful! He's part of the overeaters club...the difference between a medium pizza and a large pizza, just getting it down! lol
Nope, lions are bigger Darcy. Thank you watching!
Bella.fauna.
are they twins or one is older than the other?
Do the Gowie males visit the Marthy Pride as they control that pride?
The one male does from time to time. Thank you for watching.
@@MalaMalaGameReserve would love to see latest footage of a Gowie male with the Tsalala queen and their daughter,if that is possible.
This is y I like Lions, if that were lion brothers they would share no problem
Thank you for watching
Hey boys did Mistress Nkoveni give a destructive lesson to one of ya? Or is that ya crazy brothahood?) Insane leppard show and applause from me❤️🐾
Thank you watching!
I'm curious who the retired male leopard the ranger mentioned in the video is. Is it Inyathini?
Hi Barry - no, he's been spending time in the southern parts of MalaMala
@@MalaMalaGameReserve Hi MalaMala, thank you for the video and information as always!
That was amazing
Thank you for watching!
Just share the darn meal.
Can't we even share our food in peace around here? There is no We in food here.
😂
So leopards can climb trees like mokneys that is sick they can survive easily with this and they even took their meal with them lol
Thank you watching!
I wish that branch would break. Below 2 annoyed lions.
Que passaru esfomeado é esse o peixe era muito grande pra ele comer kkk 💪👏🇧🇷
Obrigado por assistir
Come on guys share ! Take turns sharing each others kill. Neither one of you will ever go hungry, after all you two are brothers
The Heron is the kind of guy I can chill with swallow a whole fish 😂
😂 Thank you for watching!
0:41 Who said leopards don't roar? They only saw back n forth?
Any idea about tsalala lioness Is it th3 tsalala lioness? They are good
That is her in the video aka the Marthly pride
Are there hyenas praying down there? it seems their prayers had got an answer, a leg dropped during the fighting.
Almost used 8 of 9 lives on that first branch slip!!
😂 Thank you for watching!
Sad they don't share he eat his portion and give the rest to him like they usually do leopard wow
Any ground animals underneath?
Not on this occasion - they missed out!
Fighting up a Morula tree. Come another season the elephants will be getting drunk from its fruits. Man, when is Covid ending so we can make out morula brew?!
