Great stuff. Hope it helps.
I just don't like cancer is very very painful and I mean very painful
And hopefully not an I Am Legend ending.😮
Seriously impressive technology. I work in clinical trials and we recently ran a small study using a new technique to map neoantigens in gastro-oesophageal adenocarcinoma patients. Initially it was hoped that the cohort of participants would help us identify a handful of genes which would enable the engineering of mRNA vaccines as a form of immune therapy. Unfortunately, early analysis is showing nearer 30 even in our sample group of 30 participants! This means that cost would be a big implication as each vaccine will need tailored to the patient, however, as the video states, AI might help us simplify and reduce the cost of this process! Very pleased to see this being trialled in a variety of tumour groups. We’re actually about to set up some trials looking at using similar technology in patients with small cell lung cancer and upper GI cancers too. Watch this space!
