    • @SeventhSon It's not Weidman's fault that he celebrated. If you rewatch the fight, he actually goes to him afterward to show respect. I don't think anyone should celebrate an injury regardless of win or loss, period. He simply didn't see the injury at first, all he saw was the ref wave his hands and declare him the winner, that's all.

    • not really insane. it was more impressive that he did it to someone who rarely ever even gets knocked down. wrestlers are actually really good at striking over time. they have the work ethic to pick it up (justin, johny hendricks, jon jones, josh emmit, Tyron woodley the list goes oooonnnnnn) and they have the core strength to generate power. and the biggest thing they have might be the element of trickery. their opponents have to worry about a larger target area to protect. they get free head shots (head shots without feinting etc) because their opponents cant use a high guard. they have to keep their hands kind of near the chest to be able to sprawl or get underhooks as quick as possible
