    • @@josephfdent granted,even though after 4 years away,doing nothing but training with fabers team,he would have improved his all round game, beyond recognition.Fighters have strengths and weaknesses,with only the very best not having any chinks in the armour.All fights start on the feet,so Sage got terribly unlucky to meet the perfect strorm with a seasoned kickboxer,and getting caught cold with a freak massivly damaging blow.Same thing happened to Cyborg Santos,and he was no sluch with his stand up.

  • Everyone tried to pass off Sage as just a fitness model after the Cosmo fight. He legit has skills. There was no shame in getting knocked out by Cosmo. Dude is a seasoned vet. Sage was like what... 19 or 20? Good to see him come back after that time. He's probably got a long successful career ahead of him.

  • Even after re-watching this, all I can see is Ahmed getting in a quick jab but mostly applying pressure and closing the distance - so that he push Sage backwards (almost like a trip) then was able to crowd him. Sage could easily have panicked, but he looked focused and seized the opening. well done ! glad you're back young man :: your energy is contagious.
