The Elbit Systems autonomous artillery rocket system provides a comprehensive and cost-effective solution for precise firing of all types of advanced rockets, with optimal responsiveness. Unlike standard artillery, with PULS™ there is no need to move artillery units based on the required firing range; the versatile solution can fire a variety of ammunition types to various ranges from the same position, to ranges of up to 300km.
The multi-purpose launcher features two PODS; each POD is designed for a specific rocket type: the Accular 122mm (18 rockets) with a range of up to 35km, the Accular 160mm (10 rockets) with a range of up to 40km, the EXTRA (4 rockets) with a range of up to 150km and the Predator Hawk (2 rockets) with a range of up to 300km. The system can accurately and effectively neutralize the specified targets at all ranges.

  • The Israelis are offering this to AFP,now its a competition between the Elbit System/PULS and the South Korean Hanwha Defense with the K239 Chunmoo,both are cheaper alternative than the HIMARS.The other thing buying a HIMARS, use of ATACMS missile against legitimate targets are highly sensitive and requires US approval.The Philippines is looking for long range rocket artillery systems that it could use for Anti-Acess/Area Denial (A2/AD) in the Philippine EEZ,together with the Indian BrahMos supersonic cruise missile,they can elminate the Chinese made fake islands with ease,without a redtape approval from the USA.

    • Germany is planning to get the Puls and MBDA Deutschland is offering integration of its 500km JFS-M to the system. The JFS-M unlike the ATACMS is gonna be a stealth based cruise missile though. So not ballistic like ATACMS or PrSM

  • I think missile like these already have GPS to help them with the navigation or heat, trajectory etc so why use drone? Especially since drones are very vulnerable, but if is not shot then its very effective.

    • It depends on the vehicle it is mounted on. PULS (formerly known as Lynx) is just the launcher system mounted on the back of the vehicle.

    • Dude Nasams 2 is a SAM system while this is MLRS. They may look a bit like each other but their roles are absolutely different. Nasams is designed to shoot down Airplanes and Rockets while this is Rocket artillery designed to shoot other ground targets.

It was of some moderate utility in the early stages of the conflict between Russia & Ukraine but its utility has declined very significantly once the Russian reguarded it as a serious threat that need be addressed. It is now of limited very utility

    • В реальных боевых действиях с сопоставимой армией будет всё иначе. Высокоточное оружие работает в основном с поддержкой беспилотника и спутниковой связи.. это первое что перестанет работать в боевых действиях. Поэтому тренироваться надо с учётом что это уже не работает.
