I like the variety of his goals. Even the headers are different. He scores tap in, screamer, mazy run and goal, headers. He is perfect.
If he was 3-4" taller he would be. He's decent in the air, but the way Tierney crosses, it would be nice to have good sized forward getting on the end of them. Guess Arteta has more tip tappy 'Wengerball' in mind. It would be nice to have a plan B when that inevitably fails at stages throughout the season
@@davidpryce5079 Truth be told, I don't like those tactics of crossing at every opportunity. Headers are one of the most difficult to score so I get frustrated when tieney keep pumping in crosses. Harry Kane had the highest headed goal past season and he scored just 4

This signing to me says a lot about Arteta….. Having previously worked with Jesus at Man City and Jesus choosing to work with him again without champions league shows that players rate him. We need to be patient let him build his squad then we can question the process. We are going in the right direction! Be careful what you wish for just look at Man Utd!
Sometimes certain signings that look great on paper just don’t work out well something like Lukaku’s comeback to Chelsea, I pray this isn’t one of them because on paper he’s a massive addition to our team, probably the best no.9 that suits the way we play. He’s that old fashioned ball playing no.9 that always flourished at Arsenal. Welcome Jesus, welcome to the gunner family. Hopefully you get to have your on chant pretty soon!

You've answered your own question, jesus suits the way we play like you said and has worked with arteta so will know how to get the best out of him, lukaku's situation was the opposite, didnt suit chelsea's style of play they just went for him because they badly needed a striker and he'd played for the club before also tuchel didn't want him would prefer a more mobile striker. With Arsenal's style of play you have 2 choices for a striker. You either get a bigger target player like a giroud, vlahovic, scamacca, to play off of and is an aerial threat, or you get a shorter player that is aggressive, a bit of a poacher, and a nightmare to deal with like a suarez or aguero. I think Jesus is like an up and coming suarez or aguero (not saying he is that good or will be idk) in terms of he's technical, can finish, and is aggressive with and and without the ball. Hopefully he can continue to improve and become a top striker for us.

Don't do Laca like this though, he may be the best finisher in the world or can't do some of these fancy moves but one thing we could always hang our hats on was his hold up play and link up, most of the beautiful team goals we scored he had a hand in coz he is good at it. I know we're not supposed to like him but I am going to miss him, would have rather kept him over Eddie

Those who are saying he's similar to Nketaih please tell where are they similar? They are both penalty box poachers, and heavy on pressing and have the same celebration but they are totally different.. Not dissing Nketiah I actually think he will develop to be better than Gabriel but they are not similar which means they can play together.. Gabriel is an out and out attacker as he can play anywhere in the front line, whereas Nketiah is a channel runner and like to play off the defender..

Jesus can def get 20 goals in the league. He'll be starting every game and the attack will be built around him. Don't even think we need an out an out striker, especially if we get Raphiha. With Saka, Raphiha, Jesus, Gabriel, ESR, Ode and Nketiah we'd def get lots of goals and assists in the team.
For some odd reason I wish we still had lacazette…Jesus, nketiah and lacazette is not a bad striking department seeing now that we looking at only getting one number 9 this summer….we could have gotten one more year from lacazette.
