probably I'm the biggest British fan of this man. I followed him since I saw him on the undercard of Lewis v Tyson fight, instantly became a fan when I watched him. When I was young, I thought the Legend Manny is a real hero and he is defending Philippines in different country by boxing. So, whenever he knockdowns his opponent it feels like he's the hero in Avenger movies. After 20 years I'm still a fan and now crying because I realize there is no more waiting for his next fight in the ring. Champ thank you for inspiring me since I was 5 years old! tbh, he was also a replacement on De La Hoya fight. De La Hoya vs Mayweather rematch was set at 147lbs but Floyd decided to retire for 366 days so he can legally avoid the rematch clause. De La Hoya was finding opponent and he decided to pick Ricky Hatton but Ricky Hatton has an upcoming fight against Paulie Malignaggi so basically the fight was declined, then Pacquiao stepped as a replacement for the fight because De La Hoya want to fight someone while chasing for a Floyd Mayweather rematch. Pacquiao retired De La Hoya as a replacement fighter, and same thing happened to him against Ugas.
Someday I will tell my kids that their dad witnessed the golden era of boxing and this man is the GOAT. When he have a fight, most of his countrymen watching his fight.
