Sandai Kitetsu - Third Demon Sword is the third of the Kitetsu swords, it was forged by Tenguyama Hitetsu and it is cursed. Sandai Kitetsu is its excellent sharpness, making it easier for cutting, besides its sharpness, Sandai Kitetsu is also highly durable, able to withstand powerful blows from Rokushiki techniques .

  • Am impressed. One huge mistake very very common in modern (western) knife/sword making is to make the tang too narrow and to file deep 90degs for the hilt, creating extreme weakness prone to blade snapping at those points. I'm so very happy and impressed you did NOT make these mistakes. Not particularly fond of your Tsuba because being solid steel it is heavy adding unnecessary weight to the sword. If it were skeletonized more, it would drastically help this issue. Otherwise, I love your work. Well done!!

    • Tsuba was usually made of iron though and often not skeletonized at all.

  • I love the look of this truly a piece of art, i just have one question: why didn’t you create the hamon the same way you did with your gold plated one and differentialy harden it? Just curious keep up the great work

  • What did you apply to the blade and what did you put it in when you made the pattern on the blade? I'm asking because the method of engraving the pattern on the blade is different from the method I knew.

    • Actually, it's just a normal way to corrode metal. I don't know the name of the chemical I used, I just asked to buy it.

  • Para informação, katana é uma espada do bushido, ultilizada também no kendo, aikido, no nido uishi. A katana é especifica do ninjutiso togakuri riu A diferensa gritante é que a katana é curva, a ninjato é reta , com 0.90 cm de comprimento.

    • Thank you, sharpening after heat treatment prevents the blade from bending or deforming because the thickness of the unsharpened blade will reduce that!

    • Very interesting question, in my opinion it brings a sound that reflects the strength of the blacksmith's muscles, secondly it increases the weight of the anvil to reduce vibration! Third is probably aesthetics!!
