It's unbelievable how even though she speaks a different language, she can sing so perfect in English. Not so small edit: So a lot of people in the replies are saying that it's common for Belgians (I think that's the correct name, correct me if that's wrong) to sing/speak English well. I more meant that she doesn't sound like she has an accent when she sings. Hope that cleared things up a bit.

you know sometimes nervousness just doesn't show on some people i do feel nervous a lot of time but my friends keep telling me that they envy me bcs i always seem at ease

It’s not that she doesn’t have emotions, she’s just calm and collected, relax and cool. It’s like a habit you had since you were a young child and you can’t just change something just because people don’t like it. And her voice has so much emotions! Listen and don’t just look!

What’s more amazing here is that Homesick by Dua isn’t the kind of song you’ll normally use in an audition, because it’s not a song that’s written to impress nor flex vocals. It doesn’t have really high highs or low lows. But the fact that she sang it SO WELL with a crystal clear voice and perfect pitch is what sets her apart from any other singer. She’s amazing, i don’t know how else to describe it. Just voice clarity and pitch alone, she’s up there with any world renowned singer. Just... perfect.

When I first saw the video, I was so touched by it that tears flowed immediately. Now I've seen it a dozen times and I cry every time, just like her mother. None of the great world stars touched me with their fantastic voice so much that I had to cry. Only Hayley Westenra and Maria Callas managed to do that with me. Jade doesn't copy the songs, she makes her own song out of them - respect at that age. I wish Jade that she cultivates her incomparable style and stays as natural as she is. And I wish all of us more songs and gigs from Jade. Maybe one day a really big producer will notice her or Ed Sheeran will sing a song with her.
