Absolutely love how Avalanche Yeti and Gigavolt Man-o-War’s Stages are actual platformers and not just on rail shooters, especially Man-o-War where you had to collect items to increase your boost meter to even catch up with him and it also being a janky 3D on rails shooter as well. I also love how it uses elements from the X1 intro stage it very beautiful for a City Level!

Also proof that X7 in the classic style is extremely possible, silencing the Hyena would be worth the time to download on its own.
It still could be, if we cross our fingers. Closest thing we have now are this demake and the Mega Man X: Corrupted fan game that is loaded with new gameplay and story features while staying true to the classic style.
I feel capcom changed the direction of Megaman X to differentiate from Megaman classic... not sure if it was a good idea
My definitive art style fpr MegaMan is X4 and Megaman 8. Their 32 bit is perfection.

(Hyper Bomb, Crash Bomber, technically Hard Knuckle, Drill Bomb, Dive Torpedo, Napalm Bomb, Knight Crusher didn't explode but should've destroyed obstacles, Danger Wrap's bombs, wtfever Grenademan's weapon is, and wtfever the ones are in Megaman & Bass, Megaman 9, Megaman 10, & Megaman 11. And Rockman World 5/Megaman V.)
I love that the beam sound effects for Optic Sunflower's satellite beams are the same ones for the final boss in Sonic 3 and Knuckles lol.

This is insanely impressive and well done the pixel style and animation is actually perfect and I love the movement and mechanics being implemented perfectly I'm very happy that this project feels and looks good good luck on the project this maverick elf wars and Corrupted are my most anticipated fan games from the MegaMan X series
I'm curious when corrupted will be released. From what I read you can get X Zero and later in the game Synthia as unlockable characters. multiple difficulty levels and a new bonus mode and more..^^

It would have been nice to see the Jakob Orbital Elevator and Sigma's Palace on the moon. Just imagine what the boss battles with Sigma and Lumine would have been like. Thanks for keeping the OST of X8 in tact.

There will be an X9 it’s called X Corrupted. It’s only been like 15 years in production but it’s almost done lol.
It's actually mind-blowing to me that fans are willing to, and capable of, making fan projects that eclipse anything Capcom could fart out.

it's not full yet because zero and axl is not yet playable aside from ultimate armor being unobtainable, but having to fight against these bosses and still getting armor upgrades and such, it can be considered partially complete.
the fan developer has already said that only X will be playable.

Sweet mother of Obelisk, Osiris, and Ra, I would ALMOST love to have this on my N2DSXL (along with a 16-bit demake of X7, and those 8-bit demakes Rockman 7 FC & Rockman 8 FC)...I say almost because of Optic Sunflower's stage...that's even more nightmarish than Cyber Peacock's stage in X4...

The developer said they weren't gonna implement Axl or Zero unfortunately. Kinda killed my hype for this just a tiny bit as X8 is my favourite game ever and honestly I just want X8 with the same mechanics and tech but with better levels. Don't get me wrong, this looks fantastic, I just wish I could put the levels into the actual X8 because I'd love that

Was banboo pandamonium's weapon this op in the original? I don't remember it breaking spikes and blocks. It trivializes most of the level design ;x . I imagine that the final castle stage will be walk in the park with it.
No it was buffed the original was a slow moving missle, they changed that to the charge shot. Honestly want to see this nerfed a bit, especially with infinite weapon energy with the arm pieces. Maybe make the blocks different so it only destroy specific blocks or specific.
The weapon is too powerful, maybe the developer will reduce the damage a bit.
@@TheNemesisGamer honestly the spike destroying is the most op part a lot of the challenge from stages just dies with that property and in terms of upgrades not really necessary, really should be a specific block (i say specific becauee this weapon also destroyes antonion stages because of how it breaks those blocks) it can destroy and have that have it's own property. Say like the weapon blocks in megaman powered-up where it has the weapon logo and dies whe touched by it. That way u can still use it to hide upgrades without breaking the game Like mak

This looks amazing! Just one question: why snes 16 bits sprites instead of 32 like MX4? X1,X2,X3 graphics brings nostalgia back but I honestly think that MX4 sprites looks way better, is it because it is more work to do?

Still have to include final Sigma stages... Not sure if X8's original voice acting samples would compliment the final version. Also, what the hell happened during _Jakob Orbital Elevator_ segment?
As you can see in the video, Jakob elevator is a boss rush but maybe just added as a joke and the sigma stage will be there 100%
As it's Still a Demo, I assume the Sigma Stages are still UnImplemented, with this Build Focusing on Finishing Up the First 9 Stages... The Gang Beating in the Jakob Elevator is just a Silly Extra they'd have Put in its Place for an Extra Challenge - whether it'll be Accessible in the Final Game somehow is Up in the Air, possibly through some sort of Code, or it Could just be Removed Completely. It's something I've Seen Before in Megaman RomHacks, where you have to Destroy at Least One (if not All Eight) of the Robot Masters/Mavericks before the Overwhelming amount of Bodies and Firepower from the Eight of them Obliterate You!
Early in the video, but I love the animation in this. It feels like a PSX game with SNES graphics, like updated animations, more inbetweens, more effects... It honestly feels like SNES+.

My issue with X8 is that i cannot easily tell the enemy from the background. And the movements look too stiff (especially Zero). But the 16bit graphics ultimately fix that. Bravo to the creator.
The so-called "demake" of MMX8 looks better than the 3D original!

oh hey ive been keeping track of this demake for a while didn't know it got past the intro stage I'm guessing why it's still a Demo is because its still X Only no Zero nor Axl yet and Axl will be the apart of the full release because I've never seen him in SNES style yet let alone PS1 style

Mas MUITO melhor q o original, assim q o X8 deveria ter sido feito originalmente, porém, na minha opinião, com os gráficos das versões d Ps1 ou na versão do Mega Man 11 ou ainda com os gráficos do X7, só q sem as partes em 3D.. Ou seja, p ser um game do Mega Man com gráficos realmente bonitos a saga se encaixa mto bem dos 8 bits até no máximo o estilo "Cel Shading", fora isso aeh fica bem deslocado... One thing is l hope Manowar is still a chase, but you need to actually dodge shit instead of the game dodge them for you, also maybe a bit more varieties on the lackeys
I think pt 2 of Jet Stingray's stage in X4 is a pretty good formula to follow. Have them in the chaser part throwing hazards your way but goes away after damaging it enough, but still have the typical boss room fight at the end.

Never played the original but how faithful does this game stay to the original layout of the levels and music?
As great as this is, the original is still superior in my opinion, however, you just can’t beat the classics, but this is one of those cases where you combine the old, with the new, and it becomes basically perfect.
I'd love to see Zero's gameplay next.
Zero and Axl won't be implemented in this, the developer already said that on the download page.

@@barrickfischer it legitimately kinda killed a bit of hype for the project for me, X8 is my favourite game ever and I just wanted an X8 with the same mechanics, tech and better levels but it seems like we're only getting better levels. Nothing against it, it's impressive to see how polished this looks and the levels definitely feel like an improvement. Just a personal taste thing

For someone reason the game doesn't regonize my controller, I'm using dual sense, i tried with ds4tools and just connection controller to pc without any controller emulator, both with wired connection not via cable. Does anyone know how to fix that?
Hmm, that's strange, I use the Dualsense controller myself, it works for me without any problems and without any settings...
i found the problem. in my computer game does not recognize my controller when parried without cable, i mean in wired connection i cant play the game, just with cable.

Can I just say that I love how they never used a Plant or Fungi until X4 but it was always the Flora and Fungi bosses who gave me the most hell, had the coolest weapons and made their weapons not only ridiculously unique but also totally effective? Like if Vegans showed up as Split Mushroom, Tornado Tonion or Optic Sunflower I would legit be afraid of them. If X9 was made… you could give me “Riptide Radish” who would show up in its own Marine Ride Armor or “Venusian Flytrap” or “Flare Dragonfruit” and I would most likely be fighting for my life in an epic battle of maverick meets eco friendly ass kickers Although if you tossed in “Pickle Rickman” and “Morty Morel” and I would legit die and go to gamer heaven
Fun fact: Wire Sponge is actually based on a luffa gourd (the plant luffa sponges are made of) rather than a sea sponge, so technically X2 had the first plant maverick.
