With only five minutes but an unlimited number of questions, you can find out what it’s really like to live on the International Space Station-if you also have NASA astronaut Reid Wiseman, who spent 165 days in space during Expeditions 40 and 41 in 2014. Listen as Wiseman answers the questions you would ask about real life in zero g: how big is the space station, is it very hot or cold there, was the food any good, did you prank-call anyone from orbit, and many many more.

1:52 "you can read, watch tv, do some work, uhhhhh *dont say jerk off, dont say jerk off* yeah whatever you want!"
Gonna be hard to clean that up!
That’s literally what i was thinking the whole time 😭😂
Well ya cant cause it would float around lol
@@dubwavy6386 well you can simply hold a tissue out front to catch it... There are blokes up there for months of course eventually they would jerk off its a stress relief and to satisfy their curiosity of what it would be like to jerk off in space. we are human at the end of the day.
DaveM i can only imagine walking around Someones a missed one touches you Fuckin gross
5:24 Thought nasa was gonna rick roll me for a sec
OMG yes 😁😂
Yea
If u see the notification of this message do reply me texting u on the topic after 3yrs

I really enjoyed this quick fire Q&A.
They took inspiration from vougue's 73 questions.
I really enjoyed these prepared questions and answers too. They make me all warm and fuzzy, nope that's just my big baby diaper full o crap.
Jamie Godman same
Jamie Godman sameee
Matt Smith I.
Wow, one continuous shot and not a single trip or mistake. 10/10 More of those please, very information-packed
Well, "Ever get sick of your roommates?" "You alwa..., NO you don't" haha, that always makes me laugh :'D
All scripted. Probably took a few takes
Meine Bilder behalte ich mir. Ich schaffe es nicht, sie per Post zu verschicken!
Ich liebe Gregory zu sehr!
4:55 he should've said "out of this world"
roblox oofffff!!!!!
Bilal Khalid its amazing that someone like you who has eyesight can be so blind
@Bilal Khalid What about NASA is fake?
vogue's 73 questions..
syarifah hanyna ikr😂 I was surprised no one else pointed that out
Hahahaha! Exactly!!!
Yes
red fox asxxxx
Was there 73 of them though?
Have you ever been sick of your roomates ? "You alway...." "No you never been sick of your roomates😂"
I was looking for this?
Nice save
LMAO they should prank call a pizza place from the ISS
"I work at NASA, we all wanna go to Mars'' DEAD HAHAH
One of the best videos and with no nonsense ......questions asked with visuals along the way..great directing
I swear astronauts are simply the best versions of what humans could be. Charming, intelligent and mindful.
OMG, one of your best NASA videos yet. Great job and awesome format to do Q/A rapidfire.
This guy has really good patience, I would go insane after all those questions especially with her annoying voice ( to me ) .
its scripted man.
Its a script
same
This is really cool, except the Q&A seemed REALLY rushed. Still funny and fun to watch.
Rushed or rehearsed? Where does he get souvenirs for the kids? lol
Rehearsed isn't a problem, it's the Aaron Sorkin walk and talk at double time that's slightly annoying.
Anything nasa annoys me sooooo....
that's kinda the point... read the description...
0:09 "I got all the time in the world" Probably also all the time *off* the world
2:13 haha the guy remembered his diplomacy training mid sentence. xD
So much info crammed into so little time... Great job to the interviewer and sharp answers from the astronaut. Amazing!
this is the best vogue interview ever mannnn
3:16 he got exited 😂😂😂💀
Rapid fire questioning was kind of fun to watch. Nicely done.
Her: Soo *(asks question)* Austronaut: *(replies like a boss)* Her: *laughs in orgasmic ways*
Does anyone else want to be an astronaut here?

ME
HELL NO.
Yes me but I don’t think I can do it
This was an awesome video, thanks for making it.
I love the straight forward questions and answers :)
Quick and informative, no loud intro or a long speech saying "have you ever wondered what astronauts think about of space"
Thank you for this v do, learned so much about space from this video
Just saw ISS pass over Tennessee last 2 nights👍🏼
Did you? What did it look like?
Lancair W I live in Memphis and I've prob seen it but didn't realize what I was looking at
First I go to the NASA ISS web site and put in your area code for when you can view it. I have seen a dozen times here in Memphis. It will always come from the west and looks like a really bright star moving fast and can usually view it for 2-4 minutes just after sunset and before sunrise. The way you can tell it's not a plane is if you do not see any blinking lights. The space station does not have any external navigation lights and what you are seeing is the suns reflection off of it. 👍🏻
Lancair W it does have collision lights though
You can see a long way when there's nothing in the way kid.. look up videos or info before calling someone out
man this qna is amazing
One of the best pieces of content I have ever seen on the ISIS for beginners.
I love how improvised this is!
Cool! Now kids can go to space! I'm pretty sure not for long though, maybe like a week or so. I would LOVE to go on the ISS even if it was just for a minute.
I loved that video. Great job guys!
he's one of my favourite astronauts tbh😊
the most productive interview without jokes and delay 😂
I love this kind of Q&A
this was planned very well. great job
super great video, great questions and answers. just awesme
Very Excited !
He's answering so quick
This was great! Well done.
Rehearsed question and answers are always great, but even better if he had his big boy diapers on while answering.
Thank You! Love the quick question and response. did you know a ham radio operator on earth might make a contact with a iss crewmember as some are licensed radio operators. Please do more!!!
This is a very good engaging video - very pacey but I watched it all the way through - it has to be good for me to do that!
He is just soo soo quick ❤️
This was fun to watch
Superior format. Great fun!
Wow. Best interview ever!
This video is quite good!
The life I want to live is one as an astronaut. Great and quick answers.
Informative! Good answers
I love your work
Wow! Great interview format. Add subtitles and you'll be my hero.
this was really helpful
"I SURVIVED" word of the day
Wow Seth MacFarlane knows a lot about space
I LOVE THIS !
Very enjoyable, Wiseman is good on camera.
Simply awesome.
Great video!
Great interesting information!
Really liked this!
Really funny Q&A haha
This is a really great video! Very well done, informative, and entertaining. Also I like the quick Q&A idea. See you all on Mars!
Are you going to Mars? Lucky we can't get out of lower orbit, NASA says. Radiation levels are too high, to go through van Allen belts, I wonder how we did it 6 times in 4 years going to the moon. I guess the tech was better back in the 60s and 70s. Wait did we fake it, did we fake space travel, well not this time, not mars cause its closer than our moon. Wait its further away? what's going on here, am I being deceived? Could they be taking our money 1/10 of a penny from every dollar earned, from every working citizen in the country and giving us Walt Disney Garbage? I guess if you can't make it, then you better fake it.
Wtf are you talking about? You sound absolutely crazy...
+M sounds crazy huh? but these are facts, believe it or dont. check them out for yourself.
I read a good bit of your ignorant comments. Just stop...
Don't believe me, do your own research, you will be left with more questions than answers.
Did you guys do this in one take? Loved this.
Yep we rehearsed it all week, and boom got it on one take. Walt Disney magic
Nicely produced.
Nice working
This is so cool
I learn a lot from this cool video
A to Z in 5 mins awesome👌👌
that was so well done! i wonder if there are any bloopers ahaha
2:14 you know he was sick of his roommate
Hi there I am 10 years old and I loved the tiny interview pls tell Mr. reid wiseman that he was awesome
I love this guy
I want to be a scientist or astronaut someday
The Lord Of The Craft Same
Same, I'm wondering if they would need a micromechanic though.. I might have picked the wrong field of study.
Good luck, join freemasonry first. practice magical rituals, then they will see if you have the right stuff. Because anyone cannot join they're little exclusive space club.
If you stuck on Mars you have to eat poop potatoes, so be careful!
Reid Weisman rules! I hope he gets to be one of the first people to go to Mars. ☺
hes amazing :D
To be honest, the title didnt lie. And honestly? It doesnt disturb me how the woman keeps shooting question. This video is full of action, speed, lots of questions and answers, and you get a small tour of the ISS aswell. Good content o/
"you always get tired of-- You never get tired of your roommates!" :] that was funny...
I love the quick Q&A and the humour lol
So Interesting in space
It would be cool to see a similar interview after Artemis II
Gr8 m8 I r8 8/8 anyways great vid
So now that I know everything about living in space, could you guys at NASA PM me when there's some vacancy on the ISS. Thanks in advance.
First, you need to actually *be* an astronaut.

@@harshsaini1571 yeah, ik. i was stupid, but now i'm marginally less stupid.
Legend says shes still asking cuestions
Omg so many questions
Sounds like the 72 question vogue thing. But its Cool awesome as hell.
I like my questions to have reaction time to digest what I just heard. Found myself pausing at EVERY question so I didn't want to rip my ears out. Lady, give me some time.
Vogue be quaking
0:58 that's the other way around, you age SLOWER on ISS due to the velocity time dilation having a bigger effect than the gravitational time dilation on that scale.
True, time passes very slightly slower in orbit than it does on Earth. However, we're talking fractions of a second, even over the course of months. On the other hand, the stresses of space travel age astronauts noticeably faster, due to adverse effects on their bones, muscles, blood vessels, etc.
Yea I'm going to listen to the astronaut about that rather then some random person commenting on KZhead. It's been said many times by many legitimate people that you do age a little bit more rapidly.
Oh my God, Reid Wiseman is my hero. I´m coming from Germany :C
Tooo much questions :D
Merry Christmas !!!!! AstrrOReid 😄👍🎄From on high Grandfather Larry & Family Greetings to yours may your joy Be full.
"What's a groundbreaking experiment you completed aboard the ISS?" "I survived"
"oh you look out the window" hahahahaha perfect
"I've got all the time in the world." But... what about in space?
You had me at "watch tv"
That was awesome. Nine hour space walk? I presume you're tethered (air) to the ISS and not relying on tanks?
Holy crap with all these questions
The person asking questions sounds like a highschool newspaper reporter. Is it just me?
Vary nice 👍
