  • Man I’ve been waiting for this for about 5+ years when I found out fivem actually had a drift mod. They’re definitely testing this out for gta6 and I love it.

  • I think it’s cool that you can switch the ghost mode. My cousin and I have been doing some tandem drifting in one of the drift mode.

    • @@wolfzilla9608 in gta the cars felt sluggish and the points system is worse than carx imo. I like how carx indicates whether you're doing a big drift, ideal drift, etc. It avoids the tendency for other players to rack up points by driving too slow and justifies when someone completes the course too fast.

  • There is no best drift car its all really just personal preference and practice. For me i choose the jester RR and every drift race im always in 1st and even in freemode its very easy for me to drift in and out of traffic, doing donuts and getting really close to hitting something but i don't hit it. Its just having a feel for how the drifting works after the chop shop update and what works for you 👍

    • Used to drift back in the day when we didn't have low grips.. The skill required was outrageous and very little people could do it well (I myself was subpar at best). Then came the low grips and it helped introduce a lot of newcomers to the gtao drift scene, plus allowed a lot of unseen cars become recognized for uniqueness.. I admit that the new drift tuning makes it extremely easy for people to drift in the game, but if it's inviting more people to a very small community then so be it... The more the merrier. Of course we'll always have people who run low grips on random cars like I do, but at the same time if I feel like just throwing doors in random public lobbies with people using the drift tunes, then I'll slide with them to hopefully keep them in the scene.. Win some and lose some, just my perspective.
