I just don't understand the moral superiority complex so many people have. Live long enough you'll hurt people and make dumb mistakes too - no one is immune.

    @honeynetalove@honeynetalove4 ай бұрын
    • The moral superiority complex you speak of.....comes from keyboard warriors getting a little too comfortable with the fact theyre safe in their on homes as they run their mouths. When it comes face to face, those same people will 9/10 times say nothing at all. Its a very f*cked up dynamic. I think If you say something you should have to stand by it.....People have gotten in this habit of saying sh*t that in most cases in real life would likely get someone k*lled or at the very least their jaw re-worked.

  • Alex owns the fact he was stupid just trying to find a place to fit in during recovery from drugs. These extremists groups feed on the vulnerable and its hard to then break away from those groups. Alex acknowledged he messed up, he was just trying to find his way and can reflect on it. He doesn't regret it because it wad a huge part of his journey into being the person he is.... that doesn't mean he still holds those views. He isn't denying his past affiliations and that's big of him. Thd fact is if he hadn't found that group of people he may gave relapsed on drugs at the time. People can change, he recognised he's views didn't fit and left it behind him to be a better person. Can't falt his transparency on the matter. Do I believe he's s Naz! - no, do I believe he ever really was - not really but do I think he was that stupid young man who was introverted snd just wanted to fit into a group he found himself surrounded by - yes. People also get caught up on some of the language he chooses to use - English isn't this guys first language, he grew up in a totally different culture so he will at times not be able to find the right words. Give him a break.

We are each on our own individual journeys, and it is refreshing to see this approach: Go right to the person in question, and ask them straight up. All of our lives have mistakes, poor judgements, and wrongs. Good on Ivan for being forthcoming, honest, and real.

  • Dude, Alex is a Russian who grew up in a completely different culture than most Americans! The dude has been getting hammered in the media a lot recently and he has consistently been defending himself and what he believes in. Unfortunately Germany took a lot of symbolisms and completely destroyed it. Talking from a historical perspective and nothing else. I personally support the guy because he stands up for individualism and being yourself regardless of what other people may think. I'm sure that I may not agree with everything he says, but I can respect the man for being honest about shit and telling everyone else to " fuck off if you don't like me, I don't care@" .. so yeah, I respect that!

Many people deserve a chance at redemption. If we could change every real nazi or neo-nazi racist fascist and hateful hearted persons ideology to a more positive and accepting and loving one of unity and peace, wouldnt that be the best and most caring and wise path? Be kind and Peace to you all, Rock on.. 🤘

I met Alex and the band when they came through PA and he is one of the funniest, genuine guys, who is definetly not afraid to speak his mind. Haters are gonna hate, he needs to ignore all that, he owes none of us an apology and for the people who won't understand and want to hate, you don't matter.

  • I am a 19-year-old Lesbian from the States, and on behalf of the LGBT+ community, I likely will be the first to openly admit that our community have our fair share of our own issues. We are sensitive because we've just been hurt so much during our shared history, and most of us choose to put up barriers and claim we are better, but in doing so, we set ourselves apart from the very society we want to accept us. But that's the thing, it's history. Alex is on point! We can feel bad about the shamful things (all of) society does and has done, but its up to us to accept it, learn from it, and move forward collectively. "Collectively," key word! Not just the Fascists and the Right-Wing, but all of Humanity; including the LGBT+ Community! We can't take anything for granted, life is way too short for that, and people are fallible. We just have to learn, grow, and go with the flow, (It rhymes, so you know it's good advice!) And repeat it all again. We cannot be better unless we choose to be better... In all aspects. People from all walks of life could learn from this man.
