Wish had a teacher like her .😍 ADORABLE .
everything you mentioned about the alternatives words is always hear in school most specially when i was in primary to college in philippines ..but anyway its good to learn something diferent from you teacher lucy..
"Why not?" can be an alternative for "Yes". For example: A: Would you like to drink something? B: Why not?
I think 'I would love to' can also be an alternative to "Yes". A:Would you like to drink something? B:I would love to . A:Can we go for a dinner tonight? B:Yeah, I would love to.
2 1
Why not also ok because it’s like rhetorical question
@@shanzeyfatima259 What is 'rhetorical question' ?
Positive mind @A question that is asked not for the answer but only to make an impact
Lucy speaks English better than anybody else I've ever heard.
Perhaps, becoz she is an eng teacher

HI Lucy, great content. Can you make a video and emphasise on how to avoid misunderstandings and lying, or identifying words that have deceptive direction of intent. example.. words such as BUT
Ooh ooh! Also could u do one about sarcasm? One of my friends watches your vids to know more abt English (not her first language) and doesn’t seem to understand sarcasm
It's good you repeat several times the expressions. It helps to remember. I appreciate that.
Thank you: That’s kind of you. When someone give a present for you 👌🏻
I find your videos soothing. The lessons stick. Luv from Nigeria.
You're an absolute star Lucy
Hi Lucy, I follow all your videos, my english has improved since I have started following you on KZhead. I appreciate this very much. I like the way you explain and you talk. I like your accent too.
"Avoid repeating . . . " Much better than: "Don't say . . . " "Stop saying . . . " etc. Now you have my "Like"!
I see your point, but radical statements, especially in the thumbnails, sound more powerful and attractive. Sadly, it's all about the lowest common denominator nowadays.

Hello Lucy! I'm from Argentina and a very common way to say "yes" is "De una". You know a lot of Spanish so I'll give you and example in Spanish for ya: -Querés tomar un helado? -De una (We use "querés" instead of "quieres", which is used in Spain). We use "De una" to express agreement too. Is another common meaning. Great video!! We are waiting for you over here.
