Sick wave! but I’m not a fan of the ski jump off.
Yeah, it's illegal too. They're only supposed to use the skis to shuttle riders out to the break and the skis aren't supposed to be in the lineup itself at all. Jack's a kook.
Generally agree, skis around paddle surfers suck and police should give heavy fines. But to fair this case might be a bit different as I can only see two other guys out, fair to assume these other two guys also just got a set wave and are with the skis.... Why no crowd?...Burleigh is often impossible to paddle when some size as the sweep is just so strong it pulls you away from the actual waves and you just cant get to them to catch.
@@Indonesiansurftravel there were surfers in the water though and if you watch some of the raw footage, you'll see a few skis were pretty reckless getting waaaay too close. Per Stab mag a few jetskis were wrecked by waves on this day alone between the few good spots that weren't maxed out. Surfers used to have to earn their turns, now there's a bunch of lazy kooks out there putting people in danger.
