  • That was a great car to start with. You’ve made it even better. Can’t wait to drive my ci soon. Keep the vids coming from the E46. Big up from England. 👍🏼

    • Thank you fellow ci owner. These vars a effing great. The car is.. feels.. very different from stock with these two mods so if you want to try something new with it this combo could be it.. headers and lsd Big up from across the pond👌

    • @@OEMplusRESTOyou think the lsd is worth it even in my 320ci vert with the m54b22 170bhp engine?

      @AmanSingh-si4hc@AmanSingh-si4hc9 ай бұрын
    • No. It hardly makes a difference on my 330ci with more power. It pulls out of a corner better, and launches better. But i think maybe the 170hp version is better off with just great tires

    • The mv2’s are probably one of the heaviest 18” wheels from bmw. Im certain youll be able to feel a difference. Especially on a 2.2 e46. Im happy my video has helped you

  • Thanks for the video! It confirms what I was thinking. I have my manual 330ci with schmiedmann headers, race cats and eisenmann X pipe, couldn’t be happier with the sound! I had the feeling the car has more power than 231hp. By racing a stock mini cooper jcw automatic with 231hp and 320nm that is also 300 kg lighter I was surprised. The e46 is exactly as fast, and above 150 it starts gaining. I’m intrigued to get in on a dyno to know the exact power and torque now!

      @OEMplusRESTO@OEMplusRESTO6 ай бұрын
    • @@OEMplusRESTO I got the car for about 7 years now and I'm close to 220k miles on it. Recently change the original exhaust (rust holes) for new stock one. And made anti-rust undercarriage protection with acid rust removal and using protection for boats. :) Oil consumption is as it was in 2016 - about 400ml/1000km. I drive on Valvoline 5w40 Maxlife and change it every 6500 miles. Got plenty of factory parts still in it. I drive it mostly on highway with speeds over 100mph (thanks to 6speed).

    • @oktanskioktan9372 that m54 will keep going!! still on original rod bearing? Im in the middle of changing them. It turns out it wasnt needed, but the oil pan and filter housing were both leaking so i mights as well while im at it. Mine drinks 1L pr 1000km but i do alot of engine braking and run 5w40.. 10w40 seemed to work better in thay regard in my previous 530i. I hope you get many more miles out of it:)

      @OEMplusRESTO@OEMplusRESTO6 ай бұрын
    • @@OEMplusRESTO I hope get close to 300k. Yes, still original rod bearing. If the engine fail I would consider finding another one and swap or make general repair with M52 piston rings to prevent oil consumption. Good luck with this, I think there is no better RWD entusiast car for the money. Still in 2023.

      @riccardocervetti3203@riccardocervetti3203 Жыл бұрын
    • The lower and harder the sidewall the worse it is. And some tires do it more than others as well. Unless youre going for higher tire profile there not much you can do. Alignment plays a part too. Just alot of things that add up really. Id try 17” with some really good touring tires
