My son was born prematurely (6,5 months) during this song, the doctor had control over the music using his apple watch and let us know our son was born, this as the happiest and scariest days of my life. He is now coming back home 2 months later doing great, this song means a lot to me, I used it for 2 months to give me strengths and courage on the back on fourth trips to the hospital. BLESS !

Outsidelands 2022 best set I’ve ever seen in my life. Hippy flippin 💊 🍄. With my best friends. The crowd control of this group was so amazing. They had many thousands of people all sit down and get up and dance when the drop happened. Never even heard of them before Saturday. Now can’t get enough of them. Love from San Francisco!
I used to sing this lullaby to my little sister when she was a baby. This gave me a FREAKING FLASHBACK!

Polo and Pan I NEED THE ALBUM RIGHT NOW OR I WONT SURVIVE THE SUMMER
the meaning of the song came to me yesterday while singing it for my 2 year old son and in the light of the suffering of the Gazans it brought me to tears, and now every time I sing it, it is a prayer for mercy, compassion and freedom. may love, justice and the truth prevail, aho.
How could it be considered as a lullaby? I just checked the meaning and it is really heartbreaking. The meaning: "Father, have mercy on me, Father, have mercy on me; Because I'm dying of thirst, Because I'm dying of thirst; Everything is gone - I have nothing to eat, Everything is gone - I have nothing to eat."

Once upon a time, I was 6 years old. I lived on top of a hill surrounded by the ocean. Snakes slithered in our backyard through bushes blooming with red hibiscus flowers. Bulbul birds perched on our windowsill, their little black crests twitching as they joined each other in song. Mornings were slow. We would wake in the glow of the rising sun and find our dog Chelsea doing sun salutations in a ray of warm gentle sunlight on the terrace overlooking our beloved fishing village. On some of these glowing weekends, my mother would gather all the children in the village to our garden. Music and laughter filled our little hill. On one occasion, she taught us how Native Americans lived in harmony with nature and within their communities. Sitting by our tribe's teepee my father had helped us build with our hands, we learned how to listen. How to listen to the voices of others with the help of the Talking Feather. How to listen to the heartbeat pulsing in all of life. How to listen to the rhythm of the world with grateful reverence. And when we had to learned to listen, we sang. We sang Ani Kuni.
This comment is beautifully written, sounds like a poem
