🟠 Title: Wild America 'The Wolf and the Whitetail'
🟠 Summary: Witness the wondrous birth of tiny twin Deer fawns, and see wide-eyed Wolf pups emerge from their den. Both the Deer and the Wolf are followed through their age of innocence into maturity, when -- finally -- during a winter hunt, both the young Deer and the young Wolf assume their traditional adult roles as predator and prey. • I have always loved wolves. Thank you for showing us that they are a family just trying to survive and not the blood thirsty monsters a lot of people think they are. I try and watch as many videos as I can about wolves. I've learned a lot about them and know they are not scary monsters. And of course the fawn's are just the cutest things ever. ❤

  • I saw this episode when I was a kid, and I have always had a reverence for wolves; I don't ever recall hating such beautiful creatures, and I wonder if people will ever truly understand wolves for what they really are besides the stereotypes that we humans who don't know them. Thank you, Marty.

  • I remember those days when I was a kid always waiting on the next episode every week . I learned a lot from watching Marty videos. Wish I could get my hands on his entire video collection of all the series. I would pay good money for them.

  • Just finished reading some of Rick Mcintyre's book about wolves. So happy to see that years after the wolves are brought back and began to prosper in some of the areas in the States.

  • I loved this series. It's too bad N Geographic copied his form and style and ripped him off with their big money production. Marty makes you feel like you're out there living amongst the animals as family like no other person could. The fawn and pup together were fantastic. Marty's commentary at the end shows his vision as we now have approx 300 wolves in Washington and Oregon.
