Well in my opinion the performing at the performance does not less than the vitality of the message. I bought up other rappers because we only seem to bring up morality when it comes to the female rappers making political statements. No one brought up lil baby’s flaws when he made his song was my point.
@@SonOfDenis Well if Lil Baby had females twerking while he performed live while tryna be on a political tip then you would be correct but I don't think it's the case as Meg was twerkin while she should've just covered on up and talk that political shit because for the most part people won't take her serious which is a fact.
OK he doesn’t have females twerking in that one video but he does rap about gun violence and killing other black men on multiple records. However that doesn’t take away from the song he made about what black America is going through being supported, so why should her message be derailed because of some twerking in her choreography?

You must not follow Megan which not saying you have to but she actually has about a good 24 inches of her real natural hair up under those wigs. Some black people definitely have texturism issues but some just don’t have time to do their hair or even know how to. Also she’s on stage dancing, possibly sweating&I’m sure there’s plenty of fans on her and our hair type can’t take all that, especially if she’s performing a couple nights in a row.
This is always a go-to for morons that try to discredit a black woman's message. The texture of her doesn't change the fact her skin is black. And she's most definitely not trying to be white.
She also saying to protect while dressing like a thought and being sexually provocative. To add Malcom to the opening like this is about to be a part of the movement is ridiculous
That’s your opinion&you’re entitled to it. I personally don’t think her performance (which wasn’t even that provocative compared to some of her other performances) takes away from the message nor do I think blk people have enough celebs willing to speak out on our behalf to be this hyper critical. I don’t think throwing the baby out with the bath water is necessary here.

It would’ve been great to perform a song that actually had some type of meaning.. performing Savage after that was really fucking stupid. Megan isn’t stupid but she definitely needs to update her discography with some real shit if all she can do is twerk .. after giving that message about Breonna Taylor, protect black women and the Black Lives Matter movement.
If this was Rapsody I’d give you that. But this is Megan, you know what you get with a Megan concert. And I personally as a fellow lyricist give her a bit more of a pass on the overt sexuality because at least she pushes her pen&also that’s the double edge sword of being an artist in this day&age because that’s what people want to see, they don’t wanna see people rap about meaningful stuff. If lil baby can put out that conscious song in 2020 and collectively black people stood behind him even tho his image isn’t the most pristine, I don’t really see how one cancels out the other with Megan. I do feel there should be more of a balance with the type of bw promoted in the game but that’s on us to support everyone not just the more sexual rappers.

The twerking in my op is irrelevant (blk people still would’ve used her sexuality, regardless if she twerked in this one video or not) however, I will say I would’ve preferred her&the dancers to sport Afro hair. Or even do like the singer, Doechii did on the BET awards and snatch off the lace front to reveal an Afro centric hairstyle during the Cameron speech.
